My iphone got wet and was not working properly, although it appeared as if my drying it and storing it in a plastic bag with silicone packs was successful. I thought the problem was with the home button getting wet. I looked into repairing it through Apple, but after reviewing the cost of about $300 I began searching for alternatives. The reviews of Telstar were very favorable and the store was conveniently located for me to stop in. The gentleman there did not think it was the home button and offered to evaluate the phone further for $75. Turned out the phone was still full of water inside and he opened it and dried it out using alcohol. It worked like new! I had my phone back in one hour.
