SCOOPY'S TOO — Restaurant in Deptford Township

Stopped here with my family after we went mini-golfing. There was no one at the window but she soon arrived after my son rang the bell. We let the man behind us go 1st. When it was our turn to order the girl was rude and made it known she wasn't interested in being bothered to do her job. My husband ordered 1st then my older son then myself. I wanted the chocolate peanutbutter. She said they were out so I ordered a banana she said they were out of that too. So I said, "why don't you tell me all of the flavors you're out of so I could make a choice from what you DO HAVE." She listened quite a few flavors so I finally said I'll have the peanutbutter ripple..My younger son gave his order then I paid.....she gave me the wrong change. She shorted me money. We FINALLY got our icecream went and sat down I began to eat mine which was plain vanilla. 🙁 I dont like paying for flavorless icecream so I went to go and ask her if I could switch it or at least get what I paid for but she had already left the building. I remember passing this place as a kid and always wanting to go there because it looked cool. I'm sorely disappointed. I gritted the bad customer service a few times because of all their cool flavors, but I gave up after my bf and I got ice cream that melted so fast we just wanted to throw it out. They have to be reminded if u get jimmies, this time I had to repeat myself 4 times during my order of 2 cones while she wrote it down. Then there was the time my bf asked for a waffle cone. Since he got some kind of topping they made him get it in a cup, but they forgot he wanted a waffle cone (still charging him for one). When he told them we wanted it, they just gave us an empty cone even though I asked for them to put ice cream in it. Half of the reason why they charge extra for a waffle cone is because you get more ice cream :( my bf just stood their like a sad child who had his ice cream dropped on the floor, dumbfounded by the employee who gave him the cone and then...

Specifically asked for nondairy ice cream, but after eating it I developed hives, closing throat, and other symptoms of anaphylaxis (I am not lactose intolerant, I’m actually allergic to dairy). We called the shop to see if there was any cross contamination and they informed us that they do not serve any ice cream that was dairy free. Not only was the worker who took my order beyond rude and gave me food that gave me an allergic reaction, but the owner denied all responsibility and claimed that they never saw the interaction on their cameras. Do not go here if you have an allergy or other type of food preference because they will not respect it and they clearly do not care about taking responsibility. If they were more understanding of what happened I would not be writing this review, but the fact that they deny the incident and do not care about food safety...
