My second visit to this diner. I must say each visit gets better. However, they do not have six stars so I have to stop at 5 ! The service was excellent, as my every expectation and need was meant or surpassed. I like to sit at the counter near the kitchen door so I can see the food come out. Every service tray's food looked wonderful. They did not miss on any presentation. This is by any means a wonderful restaurant. Tonight I had soup and salad. The salad was nearly impossible to finish. I had the Greek salad which had a wonderful dressing perfectly balanced with sweet-acid and salt. I don't believe it was your normal salt because it left a wonderful aftertaste in my mouth. I actually look forward to every bite. The vegetables were all crisp and could not have been better if they were picked an hour before service. I really love the stuffed olive leaves. The rice stuffing was carefully prepared and not an afterthought. 😁 The dessert counters left my head spinning from all of the choices. I had cheesecake with cherries to go. As promised, the cheesecake was creamy deliciousness. I believe there is something for everyone at the seventh store diner. If you love Philly Sports, you will love this place because the waitresses show their Philadelphia and South Jersey pride in what they wear. I hope you enjoy I certainly did.

Sadly, a bad visit brought me here. I've visited a few times over the years.. Let's say 11x.. 10 of those visits were before "the rona" 1 after (today in fact). 8 of the initial 10 were great.. The other 2 visits there was a fly problem.. I hadn't been there since last summer (2019). Well we went today and the fly issue still existed..??!! We were wondering how/why but proceeded to order.. We ordered 'brinner' b.k.a 'breakfast for dinner' Our potatoes were definitely old and reheated. About 1/4 were completely inedible(hard).. Our eggs were awesome and freshly cooked.. The scrapple was cooked in fryer oil (who does that🤦🏼) We asked for 'thin & well' & it was. The cornbeef hash was under done.. From the can to the pan and 1flip.. 🙄but i digress. Blueberry Pancakes were superb.. Coffee good. Iced tea good.. They have the bakery area that looked pretty good before. It used to be filled with different things (to take home) but there weren't very many eye catching items available. Could have been our dissatisfaction.. Staff was friendly.. Left my phone and retrieved it without incident. Lastly, it was over $50 with tip. That seems excessive.. The prices are way👆up & the quality way👇down.. We were a little shocked when the food arrived but even more when the bill arrived..

I like seven star diner. It is right around the corner from my home and depending on what you get and what your taste is like, they have pretty good food. There’s a variety of selections that appeal to most people but they do need some more vegan options. Their service depends upon how busy they are. Sometimes I’ve gone here and it’s been rather fast and there have been moments where it’s been extremely slow. It’s a very large please which has a lot of room for sitting in a bar area as well as patio. I’ve never sat on the patio but it looks like a nice place to sit. They usually put me in the same exact see every single time I come in, because I have children. I understand they’re trying to keep things nice and quiet for the other guests and so they need to have seating arrangements for parents. Do you have a good variety of drinks and I would highly recommend the stirfry since that’s probably the best thing that I’ve eaten at seven*so far. They’re deserts are delicious though. A friend of mine had the burger and the waiter forgot his extra sides and condiments but for the most part he says he liked it. Great family place, but for now on I will merely just order the bread basket or dessert and skip actually getting a meal.

On 4/24/2025, around a little after dinner time, my mother and I visited the seven-star diner previously known as Five Points Diner. The Seven Star Diner was originally built in 1979, and then later renovated in the 2000s with a lounge and bar with live entertainment. Seven Star is located in Sewell, NJ, and was a pretty average priced diner- around 10-20$ per person on average, and had ample parking with accommodations for people with disabilities. There was also a little bakery at the front of the restaurant. The diner seemed lively, but was not crowded. We were promptly greeted and seated with no waiting, as the diner was pretty big with lots of booths and tables placed throughout the restaurant, and there were lots of people sitting at the bar. My mother ordered ravioli, and I got a BLT but added turkey. Our server was super nice and had no issue accommodating my request. The food came almost right away and was a pretty good turkey BLT, and my mom also enjoyed her ravioli. Our server would also check in to make sure everything was okay. The menu also included diet options, and let you tip on card. Overall, I had a great experience eating here and would go again.
