Go anywhere else. I was just standing inside this store for 25 minutes after placing my order. When I had placed my order at the register I had two coffee beans & when I started to give my order the girl who neither smiled nor said good morning interrupted me to ask me to scan the beans for her. She didnât ask for my name and didnât give me a receipt. After 25 minutes of waiting I tried to approach the counter and everyone ignored me so I finally approached the girl who took my order with âexcuse me?â & asked how much longer it would be. She asked me for my name and I tried to explain that she hadnât asked my name and another girl interrupted asking for the order. Then the first one said my order was already waiting (it wasnât). Then the manager - the oldest one there who with a mole on her face who said her name was Vanessa- asked me to âconsider the way that Iâm speaking to themâ and I asked what she meant since I consciously being both polite & soft spoken and non confrontational. She said at first that was being harsh and I asked in what way - literally said âIâm sorry, in what way because I donât know how else to explainâ and she cut me off with Iâd not going to have that discussion with youâ. Translation- I donât have to take responsibility for my actions or words. This woman literally gas lighted me in front of the whole store as if Iâm a horrible demanding customer because I calmly and politely asked about my order after waiting and being ignored for 25 minutes. How is it appropriate to speak to instantly lash out at a customer instead of taking responsibility for the fact that no one followed the process or made my order. No apology and no ownership for that either and the coffee sucked. The vibe in there was so sad too- none of the employees smiled, said please or thank you or good morning- none of them were communicating with each other or helping anyone out. They all seem miserable which Iâm sympathetic too but please donât take it out on me for wanting the coffee I paid for? One guy snapped at his coworker because heâd made a customers latte â3 timesâ and it had been handed to the wrong person. I mean if youâre going to be this bad at your jobs at least be polite.    Read moreThis Starbucks could use a training in customer service skills. I came by almost a week ago and saw that the drive through was closed (technical difficulties, I get it). I went inside because I had the time but what I noticed was each employee was visibly grumpy. Each customer that approached an employee to order or make sure their drink was correct was met with visibly irritated employees, like it was a huge inconvenience that any of us were even there. The young woman taking orders at the cashier was visibly annoyed and didnât say anything to me. She didnât take my name either so I had no idea which order was mine in the slew of drinks and food on the counter. I didnât want to take someone elseâs drink or food so I had to verify before I grabbed each one. I donât know what the employees of this store went through that morning to make them all look like the grinch but no customer deserves such an unpleasant experience just to simply order a coffee.
I came back to this Starbucks today on my lunch break and saw that the drive through was still closed (or it broke again) and for a split second I thought, ââOh, well Iâll just go insideââ and then I remembered how they all were last time and I didnât need a Starbucks employee to ruin my lunch today so I went down the street to Dunkin and had a much better experience there. Got there 15 minutes before closing, stood at the front with my kids for 6 minutes without any acknowledgment from the 2 guys walking back and forth or from the girl counting her tips directly in front of us. No smile, hello, be right with you, pretty much pretended we werenât there. Then after making us stand there for an uncomfortably long amount of time she tells my 10 year old what can I get you. I tried to order hot chocolate, and she said they already cleaned everything, we can only get refreshers or cold brew. So instead of informing us of this right as we walked in, or even before we ordered, she made us wait... for what???? Is cleaning everything before closing something normally done here? Donât want to waste my time coming back for horrible service just to be told they closed early. Have never experienced such horrible customer service from any other business.
