THE BEST TASTING FOOD! I’m grateful that they are right here in Iowa. They know how to make those plantains not all nasty smushy and slimy. But perfect ripeness, crispy fried! The oxtails are eyes rolling in the back good and so tender and so flavorful. Like I could use the bone to flavor other meals good 🤤🤤🤤. The paella 🥘 was fire and so flavorful without being salty or soggy. Plenty of seafood surprises inside. I had two large glasses of fresh delicious mango juice. I want to go back right now! Makes me think of Miami. Definitely in point with the amazing Cuban restaurants down there. Food presentation was excellent. I eat with my eyes, mouth and nose and all of them were beyond satisfied.

The flavor was a 10/10 and the presentation. Side note the flan was the best flan I...

Sept update: how do they do it!? They top themselves everytime! We stopped in for a late lunch and ordered the pachangon, though we were warned by the staff that it was huge. They were not kidding, leftovers for a week! But so delicious! And batido de mamey, a real treat. I felt like I was back home in Matanzas, when Cuba had food. The staff made us feel welcome and we had the usual humurous Cuban banter. We've tried other places in the area that claim to have Cuban food, but there is no comparison! Karens may not like the location but we appreciate that it is next door to Central City Liquors,...

Our experience here was great! The friendly servers were quick to attend to us. They offered to bring drinks and served a plate of delicious Cuban garlic bread. The menu has a great selection of Cuban cuisine and drinks. They even have Malta, my favorite. I wish they offered larger sizes though, as I had to order two to satisfy my thirst. They also have good "batidos" (shakes). I ordered the Cuban sandwich, which was excellent. My wife ordered congrí, a Cuban version of rice and beans mixed. The price was high, but it was definitely worth it. We will definitely return to this place...
