This is the thing, I told these people that I quit drinking alcohol 23 years ago and asked them if it was OK with them. They replied "yes, it's fine". After a few years of going there, the staff started pulling my Cokes that I PAID for and while I was outside they told people "oh body is sitting there. The last I heard nobody can smoke inna bar. After I stepped back in, my drink was gone and I was expected to buy another one. This happened more than once or twice. They somehow forgot that I would and have bought food and a drink for everyone multiple times. Only one person ever bought me a Coke, ONCE ! I did have a few friends there. Then one evening one of the bar tenders decided to launch a very loud verbal assault outside on me while I was talking to my girlfriend on my cellphone which was on "speaker". She was heard loud and clear by my girlfriend. I tried to defuse the situation but "she" didn't want any part of it. I am a veteran who is mentally and physically disabled and to this day still avoid that bar like the...
Read moreWell... where can I begin. The pros: The bartender Ryan was awesome sauce. He had an awesom personality ... the door guy was amazingly polite, opening the door for everyone coming or going and saying thanks for coming down.
Cons: The music was pretty much one variety.. only 3 people got up to sing during the 2 hours we were there which isnt a complaint on the lack of people singing, it was the in between music being played. The "DJ" seemed to always be on her phone and on her cigarette breaks. I felt like those videos "you had one Job" could have been about the DJ, because 2 out of the 3 people who sang had the worst microphones because you couldnt even hear their voices at all just the music as if they didnt even have a mic to begin with... which by the end of the 2 hours there... had me wishing I could get payed to do her job too. Quite envious indeed. To be honest, my friend and I just went down for the music and we were...
Read moreI think I already posted the reason why. The aDJ didnt really DJ at all, spent her time on her phone or on smoke breaks. They microphones she gave 2 of the 3 singers that went up to sing, didnt work, it sounded like the women didnt even have a microphone but she did have another microphone that worked because she would use it to call up the people. There was a very limited variety of music playing in between singers(it was early and only 3 people sang in a span of 2 hours). I think this place is more for the regulars. The food they had that wasn't a side dish were wings and tacos. I ordered the tacos and they were good. The bartender Ryan was nice and funny. The door guy was very respectful and holding the door open for everyone and wishing them a good night and thanking them for coming by. All in all, I was looking for a spot to eat and good music.... I didnt get the good music but at...
