I went in this morning to get a coffee this morning before work and it was all terrible!! I waited atleast 10 minutes to get to the register when there was only 1 person in front of me. The manager or whoever she was ranting about how all the employees need to have their name tags and what not because someone who was important to them was coming there today but that is so not professional, atleast talk to your employees not the whole store. The girl that took my order was very rude and was just trying to hurry me up and rolled her eyes when I even smiled at her. This definitely made me in the worst mood ever going into work and I go to Starbucks in Clive usually every morning but since I had to work at a different store this morning I wanted to get the same service and amazing coffee like I do at the one in Clive and I was totally wrong. I waited another 10 to 13 minutes for my coffee and got it and took my first drink and I was already out of the store and it was terrible! Tasted like Carmel drizzle in water! I will never visit this Starbucks again! I'm very thankful for the Starbucks in Clive on university because they actually are professional, very polite, really friendly and they actually know how to make their coffees. I was going to go in there and let them know about the coffee but me having to wait the whole 25 to 30 minutes for my coffee I was late to work so I had to throw away my coffee and just everything sucked! I've also noticed that starbucks won't even reply to you if you have left a bad review so to me that shows that they really don't care. Which that definitely shows from the time I walked in and left terrible customer service and it will never change I'll never come back to this...
Read moreThe experience I recently had at the Starbucks on Fleur Drive was not a positive one. No one acknowledged that I was there. When I tried to get someone's attention they looked down or away. A simple nod and a shout out... I'll be right with you would have been appreciated. 10 minutes later a person takes my order, but she did not greet me and when done ordering, she said nothing more and did not offer me a receipt. So I stand there watching her help the next person, grinding this person's bag of coffee beans to grounds. They assume I have been there before and I have not. Whoever made the coffee sat it on the far end of the countertop and they did not tell me my coffee was made. I saw it sitting on the counter by itself. I did not get my muffin. I had to ask for it again and asked if it could be warmed up. They never said thank you. They seemed grouchy and I felt unappreciated for being a patron. This visit was on Sunday as we were heading out of town. It was approximately 11:00 a.m. and the line was very long in the Drive-Thru so we parked and went into the main entrance. If not for the line, I would not have known they were open because they are under construction doing a remodel and the door was not well marked. Because I had been here before this was not an issue.
Once inside, there was no line, unlike the drive-thru! I stepped right up to the counter and placed my order. The Baristas behind the counter were busy at their tasks, each one serving a new customer on the list of people waiting in the Drive-Thru but, all were pleasant and friendly, regardless of how busy they were. I was in and out very quickly with my order of two drinks for the road.
