Taco John's — Restaurant in Des Moines

We used the app to order and picked up food from the drive through. We had ordered a 6 pack and a pound asking for no lettuce on them and we ordered another 6 tacos which were supposed to be on special of taco Tuesday with a order of nacho cheese for the potatoes. That is what was ordered, unfortunately that isnt what we received. We had 12 tacos all soft shells and with lettuce and we only received what was almost ½ the cheese that we generally get from a serving of cheese. Unfortunately were charged an additional $12 for the order. While we were unable to bring this order to the staffs attention at the time we had multiple children with huge hunger and didn't notice the error until the kids had already torn into the food. I would like to report that the staff took care of this situation by making a new order or some form of credit unfortunately when I tried to call the store I was told well that's what you got too bad. Then the person on the other side of the phone hung up on me. I would suggest if you were looking for some tacos try some other...

seem to like Taco John's over the other competitors, could be because it is somewhat close in proximity to my home ( I am talking about the location of the Taco John's on SW 9th in Des Moines, Iowa) and it is affordable, has a Drive-thru,and is usually fast ( when I am hungry all the above counts : ) I also have never had much of a problem with the staff, they seem to be friendly enough, some even Smile once in awhile : ) but I have never had anyone that was downright rude : ) I cannot stand Rude, you're in the Food Service, and they seem to be pretty patient with me when I am not sure of what I would like to order, that goes along way with me : ) I hope you enjoy your food and visit to Taco Johns : ) please let me know how it goes : ) would like to hear about...

I came through drive through place order. Wow get back to the office. Me & my co worker was eating the potatoes ole so salty. Still taste the salt in my mouth. I got a taco salad where is the meat nothing but lettuce no meat where was the sour cream. My co-worker tacos was not good either. Just to let had to call and let them know about the potatoes ole, drove back they and got more they was not salty. But our other food was not good. So this is a no to come back to this place. Now my co-worker throwing the food up. Wow. Check yall food. Stomach hurt too. So salty my head is throbbing....
