A1 Fresh Fish and Chicken — Restaurant in Detroit

When people talk about the local, unassuming gem of a restauraunt in their neighborhood, this is it.

Just shared a meal of chicken wings and tenders with my roommates and hands down, not since I lived in Chicago have I had such good fried food since moving back 4 years ago. Lemon pepper seasoning is perfect, the food is not greasy at all.

Good crunch, but the batter doesn't take up the majority of each bite. Hot, fresh and delicious. It is a walk in, so no tables, but well worth it.

The gentleman at the cashier was friendly, helpful, and kind. I asked for his recommendation and was not dissappointed. Prices were excellent for the quality of the food.

Clean establishment. VERY pleasant customer service. GREAT tasting and fresh American Catfish! most importantly I appreciate their willingness to accept a call-in order within 30 minutes of their closing time. So many restaurants refuse to service their customers this way and miss out on additional money, and express attitudes when we are trying to give them our hard earned money.
