Captain Jay's Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Detroit

My people. Please do not support the Captain Jays on eastern near Conner. I received the most disrespectful service from this establishment. When I asked about a manager they ignored me. I was calmly asking for the manager to address the situation. His response was to call the police and 4 not one but 4 shows up questioning me from an obvious side of the Arab who called. What trouble s me most is u have 4 squad cars called on paying customers. The black cop then began to harass me asking for my ID and address. Looking for something to use against me. All the Arab did was ignore me until the cops came to harass me out of the store. I wouldn't patronize that CaptIon Jays if they were the last business on earth. Please let's stand up to mistreatment and piss poor service. A boycott is in order! Let's not support Captain JAys on Warren near Conner. It's time to demand proper service and not be bullied by obviously bored public service workers because they are not on our side. Boycott! Boycott!boycott! Time to fight back.

We surprised my nephew at school and he begged to come to this location. I was not happy with the customer service and the way the employees talked/treated the African-American patrons. As an out-of-town visitor, I was really uncomfortable with the environment. Furthermore, the male cashier got into a very heated argument with one of his customers. Apparently his advertisement sign was displaying a 10-piece wing for a certain amount however, inside the store he charged the lady $7 more. His excuse was he was too busy to go outside and change the sign. I'm glad restaurants are still on the east side of Detroit. On the other hand, the owners of these locations really should be more appreciative of the support people in the area are providing. My husband and I did not order anything.
