OMG! Where should I begin? First, I don't have any pictures to post because we never stop to think to take any. Second, it's simply because our mouths are busy salivating and our brains are occupied with one thought, is my stomach big enough? They don't cheat you in any way, whether its flavor or serving size. You get plenty of food!!! The serving sizes are enough for two adults. We LOVE rice and beans with ox tail or rice and beans with curry goat (careful the curry goat can have tiny bones within the sauce). That said it's still FIRE!. The jerk chicken is their signature meat! White or dark meat all good, all beautifully flavored all tender. They have cabbage or collard green for sides. I can never just have one so I get both. They have meat patties (pate) chicken or beef. My husband is partial to the beef. Just so you know the food takes a while to be ready because this is NOT a fast food joint! Unlike some places, they actually cook the meals from the time of your order. If you can comprehend that, then you can wait patiently for one of the best meals of your life. We drive 4O minutes to get this awesomeness and we do it again and again and again and again and again. I will do my best to remember to take a picture before we devour our next meal. Great Food. Usually Good Customer Service.

Recently I was there. The young lady took my order and everything was great. I tipped her 30%($12), Bc I love to see young people working with a great attitude.

While waiting, my wife asked me to also bring home a beef patty. So I added a few to the order. The young girl sold them and went to bag them up.

Well, I didn’t tip her on this additional $6 order. While she’s getting my order together, a young woman in her 20s gets all beside herself when she sees I didnt tip on the $6 order! You would’ve thought I had been rude to them. The whole kitchen and counter staff, aside from the first young lady and the eldest woman cooking, was talking crazy. Like they had a problem with me. I had just tipped this young girl $12 on the main order! Plus, tipping is a courtesy, not a requirement! The whole service interaction changed to negative! I haven’t been back since. That was the pettiest thing I’ve ever encountered. The food is good but I’m going to the other spot...

I must say, I can make better tasing oxtails! It was just way too hot outdoors to cook or grill anything.

After contemplating my last visit, I somehow ended up here again today; however I'm done with this place, after visiting today. Again, and needless to say, I said this last time--which was approx. six months ago. I've been patronizing for over 30 years and today for sure was my last time.

Cabbage was horrible---watered down and soggy. Oxtails had no carrots nor any other veggie nor herbs (quite bland). My beans and rice were mushy... possibly converted rice. After spending $28, yeah right... people work too hard for their earnings! Y'all ought to be ashamed to push those dinners through. Recipe has definitely changed over the years for the worst. 2 decent-sized flat pieces of oxtails and a few tiny oxtails pieces, 2 jerk thighs and the rest. Plantains were so tiny!

I truly hate to complain and put y'all on blast, but I expect better from a "black-owned" business. We must...
