Naturally, Dynasty Chinese of Detroit’s food is total perfection!! I’ve sampled their various Appetizers, their Soothing Soups and Delicious Dinners. I’ve NEVER had to make a complaint! Everything I have ever tried was fantastic! I shouldn’t admit it but we usually order from Dynasty at least once per week, sometimes twice! Besides tasting fabulous, their portions are very generous. It makes me happy to have leftovers for another day or two.

We get delivery from DoorDash and When I saw Dynasty Chinese Restaurant was an option we were ecstatic! We quickly ordered from there! Why? Because when I went to Wayne State in 1999 to complete my degree, my husband and I would always go there after classes! It was our absolute favorite Chinese place to eat! The other joints couldn’t compare. Dynasty has the “bomb” Stir Fried Rice!!! We always threw out the rice from every other place. It was always like eating tiny rocks! There was no way to make it better, even by cooking it for another 20 minutes didn’t help! Hahaha. Truth = Dynamic Dynasty’s Stir Fried Rices, Glorious General Tso’s Chicken, Magnificent Moo Shu Everything, Lovely Lo Meins, Enticing Egg Foo Young’s, Tempting Three Delicacies! These and their populars…the Sweet & Sours, the Almond Chicken, the Chop Sueys and the Chow Meins… I can go on and on! When I’m ordering delivery with DoorDash there isn’t an option to choose how spicy you want your food and I forgot to write it in at the bottom so I called to speak to someone personally. Tina is always so wonderful! Whenever we want a spicier dish or something additional or different she makes sure the cooks do what we like! The bosses need to know what a valuable employee Tina is. Dynasty is always busy and she is a pro! I witnessed this again today and felt she deserves recognition! Tina can take care of 3-4 customers at a time! This time Tina ask me if I could hold for a sec and had to put the phone down. I heard what she did in the background…Completed a previous phone order, then took a customer’s payment and handed them their food. Then she answered another phone that was ringing and asked them to hold, then came back to me. I asked her for a special request and she promptly takes care of me too!!! Gosh, Tina did all of this in less than 30 seconds…well more like 20 seconds! Also, Tina has a crazy good memory too! She remembers the regulars like nobody’s business. For one I feel she remembers voices, and when I called a 2nd time to ask her name she remembered my earlier order and mentioned some of our other orders! Anyway, it feels good and makes a customer feel special. Besides the food being wonderfully delicious, when you open the container the food is presented beautifully! You know the saying, you eat with your eyes first! Then the aromas just prior to everyone eating drives you insane! Besides wanting your food, you see and smell everyone else’s and offer some or yours so they will share theirs with you. Oh Lordy I’m sounding so corny but it’s true! Im a chef so my opinion is based off cooking skills. I had the lunch special. Didn't like the rice very much the RAW onions should have been cooked into it. Wasn't flavorful. Way too many bellsprouts. Ordered Sesame Chicken the sauce tasted like sweet and sour. The meat didnt seem like it was chicken and it was soggy even after I asked for the meat to be fried crispy. The eggroll was fried perfect but the inside was disgusting and bland. To top it all off I had a stomach bug for almost 3 days. Had a big portion but threw the other half away. My 1 year old didn't even like the food, and she eats what Mommy eats. Pissed I wasted $6 and still didn't fill my Chinese food craving. I would call this 2 star Chinese food not 5. No way. I came based off the reviews but honestly this place can do better. I know way better places...

We recently moved down into West Village from North Macomb County. Part of our bucket list was to find a go to Chinese Restaurant as this is one of our favorite carry out options. Well this past Christmas we celebrated on the 24th. Christmas Day we didn't want to cook and decided to try and find a Chinese restaurant that was open for carry out. Well we landed on Dynasty. I can tell you with 100% honesty that this is some of the greatest Chinese carry out we've ever had. Great portions. Tastes amazing and the family is wonderful.
