As we all know, our state is in the middle of a surge of COVID-19 infections. I put in an order today at JJ's over the phone. I was told there was a twenty whole wing special for $15.99. I opted to stay in the car and wait for my order to be ready before going inside. I got to the door and noticed too many people inside at one time. There are 6 foot social distancing stickers on the floor inside and there were way too many people in the store to abide by normal social distancing rules. There were people inside with no masks as well. That said, many of us chose to stay outside until the number of customers thinned out inside. I finally got inside and one of the employee waved for everyone to pack in inside. I had to voice my concern about social distancing rules and this guy was still trying to get people inside. It wasn't until I raised my voice that he backed down off of asking everyone to pack in. I discussed over the phone just giving the exact total owed and the employee said they were in the back and couldn't help me there. I finally got to pay and I was charged $21.19. Now, I did order two ranches, but there's no way that the $15.99 special plus ranch and tax totaled $21.19. I payed and left. To the owner of JJ's, please fix this store. Your practices are going to get someone sick and your business fined. I get that when you're getting a lot of business, you're focused on keeping people from walking away from their orders. I shouldn't have to speak up. You should already have a system in place where your customers don't have to be subjected to the potential of infection. You've had 9 months to figure this out. What happened today was simply unacceptable and I won't be back until things are properly addressed. Care about your customers enough to keep them safe. Maybe we're just another dollar to you. Do better. I was order 87 today if you'd like...
Read moreI've been going to JJ'S for 15 years, food has always been great! As the years gone by I understand things change, I was around when the 20 piece wing dings were 6.99 for years, price seem to go up ever week, I ordered 20 wing dings and a small fries it came to 18.01 that was disturbing different from the price 1 week prior. I also feel as though we love JJ's because of the seasoning, so many people complained abt the seasoning that they stopped seasoning correctly, that's what brought a lot of people in, good seasoned food, now the chicken is bland, they ask do you want seasoning, you say yes, just to get home and it's plain then you have to buy the seasoning that should have already been on the chicken. Before you can see the seasoning in the pan now it's nothing. If people don't want the seasoning they should be the one's asking for unseasoned food. I've had plenty unseasoned days and I think I'm just about over the high priced bland food, however, thank you for you services. Alaska chicken on 9 mile has great food and they season accordingly! Just have to drive a...
Read moreWent there today because I wanted some fried chicken. It was terrible!!! I had to return the order and when I did the manager had the nerve to ask me in his annoyed voice, what was wrong with it. I told him to look at it and tell me. He replied nothing was wrong with the chicken. I explained to him that the chicken was old and then retried or the grease needed changing. He again said nothing was wrong with the chicken. However it was fried to a rusty hard crisp and the old coating was coming off. The bruises on the chicken’s skin was coming through the fried coating. Old chicken!!!! My suggestion is try another Chaldean chicken place! At least one that uses fresh meat and changes their cooking grease! Nastiest chicken I’ve ever had!!!...
