Manhattan Chicken & Fish — Restaurant in Detroit

My first time ever trying this place was on Mon 3-20-23. I called ahead for 50 wing dings and didn't wait long once i got there to pickup and they were very tasty! Also the counter guy and the cook were polite sooo I decided I'll go back on the following Wednesday afternoon since my first experience was nice. Why did I do that!!! I received very poor/rude Customer service maybe because this guy was wearing 2 hats counter/cook I don't know but I told him I was going to write a review on his poor customer service and he rudely told me "go ahead " So here it goes... I had to ring that bell 3 times once upon arrival to get service and twice after that. It took 30mins for a 10 piece wing ding and fried okras. Each time i rang the bell I saw him get up off his a** and come the window fast talking with excuses as if was disturbing him.I asked for my kool-aid as a courtesy for waiting so long and he acted as if I asked for free food. The wait nor the kool-aid is not my biggest issue because the food was very hot it was the attitude for me!...FYI call ahead or you could be waiting up to 30mins and encounter pretty- boy attitude at the 7 mile...

First time trying this place. I ordered catfish nuggets, spaghetti, fried tomatoes and jalapeño poppers. The fish was really good. Spaghetti had no flavor and it was over cooked. Jalapeño poppers were burnt. The packaging was terrible. Granted the food was fresh, it melted through the styrofoam and was spilling out. 1 star for the fish being good. Everything else was terrible. I would NOT recommend. They need a new cook and to pay more attention to quality/ presentation. Food is affordable, made fresh and fast but it isn’t...

I would have to all my friends about how fresh and crispy the chicken wings are fried. Lately, the chicken has been dark looking and tasteless but tonight I've had enough all the BS. My chicken was salty has hell. The chicken is being fried in old grease that's been filtered not changed according to their policy. They have lost me now as a customer. Damn!
