11/5/24 Today was our first time there we ordered the special two coney’s at $1.50 apiece and an order of fries $3.50 Order with pay with a debit card. Total bill $7.10,. ( Charge for using the debit card ) When the bill came, it was $10. We didn’t notice the amount until after the three dollar tip was added. Bring it up to $13 and change when we asked the waitress about it. She claimed that we had put $13 On the receipt which we did because the amount was $10 on the when it should’ve only been $7.10 The waitress who was New insisted that the bill was right. It was not . If you add $3.50 + $3.00 charges and tax it’s $7.10 plus a $3.00 tip it’s $10 and some change, not $13.00 and change. We tried to explain to the waitress, the error and the mistake. She insisted that she was right and we weren’t. She said you’re only gonna be charged the $10 and change. Well we weren’t, We were charged the $13 and change. To the waitress, you were incorrect we were right. Even if you would’ve done the math in your head, it would not have come after $13 at all . They do not I repeat THEY DO NOT DESERVE 5 STARS! I've been here a few times before, before they went under new MGMT. I would order the Catfish an Grits breakfast, you would get 2 nice size pieces of fish grits eggs an toast, for like I can't remember the exact price but it had to be anywhere from $10 to $11 something dollars, ok great. Now under the new management that same Catfish an Grits breakfast is $15 dollars an change an the only give you 1 piece of Catfish, that 1 catfish was either 3 days old or a day old the eggs weren't cooked all the way they were runny scrambled eggs an they gave me jelly an butter but no toast. The bacon they have been selling is old too! Everybody that cooks at home knows how food looks and taste when it's a day old or weeks old, you can tell it's as simple as that 🤷🏾‍♀️. Whoever is the cooks under their new MGMT needs to do better an cook fresh food not heat up days old food an sell it for a high price. I called my order in before work. It was a grilled chicken club. It was good. It would have been better if the chicken breast needed to marinade it a little longer and had mayo on the bread. It was big! Of course, I couldn't wait until lunch. I was able to eat half for breakfast and the other half for lunch. I also needed more pickels. She even gave me some jello. The cashier was so genuinely nice and friendly. She didn't call me baby, sweetie or boo. She stayed professional!!! My next order was a special order that's not on the menu. It was a Ham, Egg, and cheese sandwich wheat. Now read the twist. "Scrambled egg whites with grilled onions and grilled bell peppers. Made like a Western Omelet."
