The flavors are authentic and bold, with highlights like the Monster Salchipapa, which are fully loaded fries that are absolutely delicious. Their menu is packed with variety, including Colombian-style hot dogs, carne asada, empanadas, and arepas, everything is fresh and full of flavor. The drink selection is just as impressive, featuring refreshing Lulo juices, smoothies, and unique Colombian soft drinks. The staff is friendly, and the vibe is great. Si pudiera colocar en servicio 0 estrellas lo haría, mi esposo en su visita a Detroit quedó encantado de este lugar pero lo atendió el dueño, me llevó 5 horas de viaje por que desde que salí de Colombia no comía una salchipapa, al entrar me recibió una mala cara, me tomó la orden una mala cara, me trajo la comida una mala cara y todo así, la comida muy buena pero créanme que sólo por la atención no volveré 🥲

Finally gave this place a try after looking at it for awhile and was SOOO glad I did. Tried a Beef Empanada, the Cheese Arepa, and the Monster Street corn.

Amazing flavors for everything!! I could eat a whole meal of just the Empanadas. The Cheese Arepa is definitely going to be a staple comfort food we'll stop by and get regularly. And the Monster Street Corn was loaded!!! Beef lots of big chunks of steak, lots of chicken, and even turkey bacon. Flavor was the best in Detroit!!! Gotta try it if...

I had a great time dining at Papitas for the first time, and it was an incredible experience! This was my first time trying Colombian cuisine, and I was amazed by the unique flavors and delicious dishes. The fact that they offer Halal Colombian food makes it even better. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and unlike anything I’ve had before. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I will definitely be back for more!
