White Castle — Restaurant in Detroit

This place has been really slacking badly for the 6-7 times I came here. I came here 2 times in a matter of 4 days, and they were out of the same exact stuff I was trying to order, They were out of the 1921 sliders, out of cheese nibblers, fish nibblers, clam strips, chicken rings and smoothies, I asked for 4 sauces for the fries and they didn’t even give me any, came here again yesterday and still out of everything I was trying to order. There was only 1 person ahead of me in the drivethru, I waited at for 10 minutes at the intercom before I asked if anyone was there and the person got mad and told me to wait, then finally 10 minutes later, they finally got to me and I finally made my order, Aaaaaand as usual they were out of everything I was trying to order except for sliders and fries, so I made the order because I was hungry and waited for so long and waited behind the 1 person ahead of me who was also still waiting for their meal, and finally after 20 minutes, the person in front of me got their order and when I pulled up to the window, they said it would be a a few, so I just split because I was already running late for where I was to be, it should have only been a10 minute wait tops, and I drove to the white castle on Woodward in midtown which was in terms, way better and I only waited 10 minutes with 3 people in front of me as supposed 40+ minutes with one person in front of me. and they had everything I was asking for. But this one on Michigan ave in cork town is absolutely horrible. the person in the drive thru line In front of me didn’t even have a big order and neither did I. there were literally 3 people working inside here and it definitely should not have taken 40+ minute for a simple order of 4 sliders and a fry. My wife and I went to this location and first things first the lady at the window was very weird and rude. The way that she looked at me when I tried explaining something to her she just started at me as if she was lost or on drugs. She also ripped me off by charging me an additional 5 dollars and would not give me the deal that they are having at all the white castles. Once we paid and received our food it was absolutely disgusting. The chicken rings were dry, burnt, and looked as if it was reheated 3 different times. The burgers were very very soggy almost as if she spit in them. The sack of fries and the sack of onion chips were just as burnt and the onion chips were very soggy on the inside. I will be getting in contact with the manager of the store bc of the price gouging and the disgusting food. My family and I have been coming to this location all of our lives and never...

My experience was excellent, however I am giving this review based on the complete lack of fortification and defense this castle offers. I gathered my surf family and our precious live stock (one mule and three chickens) to rest for the eve behind the walls of the white castle. Little did I know that this location is open 24/7. Lest I woke to the sound of my mule howling as a the nighttime raiders pilfered my camp. "Whence these abominable bandits cometh to steal me from my mother's bosom," cried my eldest son, "Forsooth, I shall only be in the memories of my dear mother and dear father in a matter of moments!"

Away, the dastardly fiends fled; as quickly into the night they dispersed as a shadow flees from the waking sun.
