Mary Ann's Place Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Devils Lake

My family and I frequent this place often, about once a week. Upon each visit, the service has gotten worse. The food is great, but I cannot enjoy a place that doesn’t have good service. For instance, there are no additional menus in sight for other options besides pizza. I’ve asked for garlic bread without cheese and got what I wanted. Until my next visit, I asked for it, and they gave it to me with cheese. Now all of a sudden, there is no garlic bread without cheese. There is no management in the building, employees sit on their phones when other things could be done such as cleaning. Tables are never wiped down and bathrooms don’t get a frequent cleaning. The cherry on top is the employees forgetting to make our pizza while we sat and waited for it… we were the only customers in the building...

We couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up summer school than with a visit from Mary Ann’s Place! With two schools coming together to celebrate, they went above and beyond by sending two ice cream trucks to keep the fun (and treats!) flowing. The workers were not only fast and efficient, but incredibly warm, friendly, and kind to every student and staff member. Their upbeat energy brought so many smiles and truly made the day unforgettable. We’re so thankful for their amazing service and can’t wait to partner with them again in the future.
