McDonald's — Restaurant in Devine

Updating review 11/17/21:

I am removing a star from this location. Their hamburgers are so skimpy, cardboardy and tasteless that I haven't bought one in years. Their fries are inedible to me, although to be honest, I have never been a fan of their greasy fries but I know many people like them. However, their hamburgers have so little ingredients on them it's almost laughable when comparing them to the pictures they show on the menu. (If you drive a few blocks down on the same side as the road you'll see Billy Bob's. Go there and get a REAL hamburger that's actually delicious and gives you more than their advertising photos, not less). The only side McDonald's offers are their barely edible fries. On top of their skimpy, cardboardy food, they have continued to raise their prices. The only positive thing I can say is that their facility always looks clean and their staff has always been friendly. They no longer offer the two breakfast sandwiches for four dollars, but their breakfast sandwiches are the tastiest thing they serve. They also have no play ground for children, but there isn't space for one. So, if you need a coffee or a breakfast sandwich, it's a decent place to get those but you'll pay top dollar for it. One very positive menu item they offer is a fried, spicy chicken sandwich with a small fry for $3.00. That's a great price and the sandwich is very good for the low cost.

Old review: Really should give 3.5 stars because they absolutely never have any ice cream products available when I go there. In their defense, I usually go by there at night, but still, I want my darn ice cream. Or at least the ice cream/coffee drink. The place is always clean and seems well managed. Prices are really too high except for the two breakfast sandwiches for $4.00 which is a great deal, and they're delicious. Their outdoor menu boards always seem to have a terrible glare, making the menus very difficult to read. I've been to this McDonald's quite a few times because of the convenience from where we travel from. The manager and workers is not that welcoming. The manager with the very long hair flips up her nose at us customers, and does not at all give a welcome to the customers. It takes a very long time to be waited on and to get our order inside. Also, my husband told me there was a guy that was using the urinal in the men's bathroom and didn't wash his hands, and then went to use the screen to take his own order, and we don't feel comfortable about using the screens there because the screens and place needs to be more sanitized. I think if the workers at McDonald's and other fast food places get paid a pretty decent pay nowadays for working at fast food places, they should do a much better job performance, and not act like they're in High School hanging out in the hallways. I couldn't even get my special flavored coffee because the workers didn't even acknowledge me being up front to take my order and even welcome me there. They always get our order wrong every single time. All they can do is have you go back and get the correct order or go back and get a refund but what’s the point when you’ve made it all the way home with your food you didn’t order and your kids can’t eat it now cause they can’t have what was in the wrong order and you wasted gas and your last couple bucks to treat your kids to mc Donald’s which many can’t do nowadays and I decide to spend my hard earned money on them to fxxk it up every single time not ever right, not once, always forgetting something or always completely wrong. Can’t do a refund over the phone or nothing can’t even promise us a free meal for another day, (whataburger takes down your name and offers a free replacement any day you wanna come in a get it) it had to be THE DAY OF PURCHASE to correct it and it’s late at night they expect us to go back and get their fxxk up fixed. Never ever again with this place they’ve pissed me and my family off too many times. Ps the basket of fries we got in the bag they gave us were cold.
