Update 7/23: Just have to update one part of my old review - the employees are fine. Many of them are very nice and just trying to work around the stupid policies in place at this location. They asked me to 'pull forward' yesterday, and then they served half a dozen people while I waited an extra ten minutes for my drive-thru order. I didn't order anything out of the ordinary or custom. Burgers and fries. Down with the 'pull forward'. Anyway, here's the old review:
Used to visit McDonald's at least once a week, and then I moved near this location. Now months go by between visits.
During this visit, there were cars in the drive thru line all the way around to the entrance. So I went inside. There were no cashiers, and the lobby cleaner girl encouraged me to use the self-order kiosk. I'm sure that thing works great if you know that chicken nuggets are under the sandwiches category. It is soooo much easier to order verbally with a person who knows how the cash register works. For example, I want 3 kinds of sauce. I shouldn't have to wade through menus 3 separate times to do that. I could've simply said 3 words out loud if there was a cashier. But the self-order kiosk is not the reason I try to not visit this McDonald's location.
My receipt came out of the machine at 10:55. There was one woman in front of me waiting for her order. I received my order at 11:13. You can yap at me about "changeover" or shift change or what-have-you, but 18 minutes at a fast food restaurant is ten minutes past being late. Maybe they should close the place for a half hour while they do whatever it is that makes the drive thru line get so completely out of hand and stay that way into the afternoon.
And one of those sauces I had to wade around the kiosk to order? Ya, they gave me hot mustard instead of honey mustard.
Seriously, this location deserves a pass. Burger King is across the street; Arby's is next door; Subway and Little Caesars are on the other side of the car dealership. All have better...
   Read moreTonight there was a long line in the drive-thru and all I needed was happy meal, so I went inside to order thinking it would be faster. I was told by the lady at the counter that I had to to make my order at the kiosk as she abruptly turned and walked away, but okay, no problem. While I was doing my order an older lady came in and she was also addressed very rudely, being told to do her order at the kiosk, to which the lady replied that she didn't know how, and she was told too bad, figure it out, basically. The crew was fulfilling two very large DoorDash orders while several of us waited for our smaller orders, when the older lady asked for a refund because she didn't want to wait any longer, the manager came out and again spoke very aggressively. I had already waited long enough and decided to go ahead and continue waiting. I made a joke to one guy about how it was taking awhile and the manager then turned around, and in front of the whole place yelled at me "does somebody else out here have a problem?" Challenging me.. I replied that it was taking quite some time and was confused as to why. Not to mention the whole time I was waiting people were coming in from the drive through with order issues, missing food, wrong orders..I was told I had a choice, I could wait or cancel my order. I waited 30 minutes for a happy meal and in turn witnessed some of the most rude and aggressive behavior by a manager of an establishment that I've ever seen, it was absolutely ridiculous.    Read moreNever had a problem with this Mcdonalds location until today. I never really give out reviews, but I felt compelled today because of the disrespect Iâve experienced. I had a mobile order that was created at 2:55PM. I selected the option for drive thru. I get there at 3:00PM. I gave the person the code and was told by the person that Iâm supposed to come in because they donât see my order. I went to check the address to see if the location was auto updated to a different one by mistake. It was the correct address. I went in at 3:03PM. I wasnât acknowledged by anyone until 3:15PM by the manager. I showed him my order. He told me that I shouldnât have had to come in. Before he talked to me, I stood at the counter the whole time, and I was not even asked if I had been helped yet. The people who ordered later inside on the touch screens got their orders before me. I only wanted 2 mcchickens and 20 piece nuggets. This was not a large order. At 3:19PM I was finally able to get my order and leave. If the manager didnât help me, I think I would still be there right now. I donât mind waiting for my food at all, this location is usually really busy and there is always a wait time, but please donât pretend Iâm invisible. Iâm not sure if they are under new management or employees, because I pretty much always get good service here.
