I am extremely disappointed on the way my family and I were treated on Saturday night 2/24 Not to mention our food was cold! The Manager SAM to say the least was on a whole other unprofessional level. We asked to speak to the Manager and she didn't give us the time of day! She avoided our table all together, she also decided to leave either on a break or home. I would love to talk to the owner and express my thoughts on what went on in his Restaurant on Saturday Night! I will no longer Patronize this Business and sad to say I was huge supporter of this establishment. I will make sure our Friends and Family in Diamond Bar and other cities know about the awful treatment we received by the Manager herself (SAM). Kendra who is a server/Runner is phenomenal along with Christina!! I feel extremely bad for Angel our waitress who really tried her best to accomedate our table she looked afraid and scared of her Manager as she was having to relay negative messages to our table directed by SAM. Thanks for ruining my mother's Bday Celebration! Disappointed is an understatement, I am still in shock! Shame on you SAM@Enncore! I think they need a new shift Manager! Birthday Celebration for my Mother who is 65 surrounded by her children and grandchildren was an Epic FAIL at Encore with no apologies by the Manager, Instead of Happy conversations it was about the mistreatment by the manager and singling out our table and order feeling discriminated constantly! She was sending the server back to relay negative messages to us. I hear great things about the Owner and I'M Shocked to see that he would allow a Manager such as her to Ruin his Business. I love the happy hour at encore, I have been a huge supporter since they opened along with my family and Friends of my Diamomd Bar community. We were seated in the bar table because they didn’t have enough space at the grill. once they sat at the grill, we waited, probably for like 30 minutes before the chef arrived. they took our orders and everything was going well. The chef did take pretty long because he was new and that was understandable. I then told the waitress that I wanted to add another order to go. The waitress told me I will add it and that the chef could cook it and then you could just put it in a to go box. when the chef was cooking the food, I did tell him that I had an order to go. however, somehow it ended up being just like a side order like a little bit of chicken, the fried rice and no vegetables included. So I thought that they were going to charge me just as like side orders and not like the whole meal. So basically, I did not get my soup and enough meat & veggies on my order. When I got the bill, they charged me for the full plate of chicken with fried rice , soup & salad. I then told the waitress that it’s not OK to charge somebody something that you’re not giving them their full moneys worth. I think that it was unfair and that they shouldn’t have charged me for something that they’re not giving me. We arrived at seven and left at 10 PM. The chef took extremely long to cook our food, and I had the patience to wait, and it is very unfortunate that they didn’t give me what I ordered. Read moreNope, nope, nope. Nearly everything about the experience was bad. Went here with a group of nice adults and several kids, so nothing huge, but things were going wrong from the start. Our orders were taken quickly and somewhat efficiently, but it was downhill from there.
The apps came out fine, but it took a long time for our cooks to come out. In fact, it was so long that the staff came out to offer inform us that our rolls would be complimentary because of the wait. Once we FINALLY got to taste our steak, is was bland and sopping with butter. The scallops were over cooked so bad that they shrunk to half their size and were rubbery. As the food was bring handed out, it turned out that the wait staff didn't get the orders right. Too many soups, not enough salads, etc. They also kept bringing things we didn't order. If we asked for water, we got rice. At one point, someone brought out six extra orders of rice that NO ONE ORDERED! When it was time to wrap things up, we asked for a take out box, TWICE, and never got one. It took almost 30 minutes to get our checks at the end of the meal. Our bill came out to just over $61, but the hostess was charging us over double that amount. When I told her about the mistake, it took her almost 10 minutes to 'fix' it. It turns out that she made the same mistake, but this time handed me a 'corrected' bill with the amount she was charging me! It was completely wrong! I finally had it corrected, but I couldn't help feeling frustrated and disappointed. I will never go there again, not will I ever recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely...
