I am so disappointed at the fact of the prices they are charging are way too high. And then they ran out of the original chicken when I ordered a family meal. And tell me it’s a 15 minute wait. One of the chicken recipes that is ordered the most. They ran out of and it was about 7:00 on a Sunday. And they charge an extra $1.00 when you order a side of macaroni regardless if it’s the side that you get with your family meal or if you order it as an extra side. Besides that you only get one side with your family order instead of two sides like all the other chicken take out places. The young man that waited on me at the drive up was the nicest kid and very helpful. But the fact that who ever was managing that evening let run out of chicken needs to be retrained or should be given a lesser position because there is no excuse that going to a drive through that a customer has to wait 15 minutes for a takeout order. Very very disappointing and I more than likely will not be returning to Popeyes. Never disappointed at Kentucky fried Chicken. Where I should have gone. But Popeyes was closer. My mistake. I want to add to this. I waited more than 15 minutes and no one brought my order out like I was told . I had to go in and ask where my order was. I ordered a 10 piece meal. I was given 4 wings 4 legs and two breasts after waiting over 15 mins to get my order and the macaroni and cheese that they. Barge an extra dollar for when you order it as a side that goes with the family meal because they call it a deluxe or something stupid. It was hard and crusty and wasn’t mixed well. The whole meal was awful and cold by the time I drove home after waiting so long for my dinner. I would suggest not going to the Popeyes in diamond bar because you will be disappointed especially for the really high prices. I will not return to that Popeyes. That was the second time and that...

I was so happy to see the opening of the Popeyes, and decided to come even though the rating was only 3.5. after the initial visit, I see why, but would like to give the benefit of the doubts and come again. Hopefully, it's better next time.
Liked: The servers were all very nice and answered all my questions. I visited during the off-peak hours on purpose tho.
I also like the idea of posting a sign of the sauces near the drive-thru speaker, which I didn't quite get until after ordering lol
Disappointments. Food: Ordered the classic bone-in chicken and found it almost tasteless. Need more salt. Especially on hot days (summer is coming soon)! The meat is juicy, just not enough salt in the meat and in the crust. I would ask for extra salt or sauces on the side (which I did) just in case. Personally, I like to enjoy my food without any sauce.
Coke (reg) tastes a little light and a little Dr. Pepper-ish.
ranch sauce was missing, but the label says it's in the box. Ordered a kids meal at the last minute and the toy was missing. The label also said the toy was included.
Tried the wings (spicy) and quite disappointed with the sauce. Not balanced (very weird flavor with too much cayenne powder), and not fixable with the Popeyes Louisiana hot sauce. --if the reddish stuff in my picture is the ranch blackened sauce that was labeled, I would recommend against it. Don't like the crust either. Overall, don't recommend it.
I tried the rice-bean for the first time and is much better to my expectation. Very flavorful and good texture. I will order it again.
Outside environment looks very nice and clean. (We'll see what happens siz months...
Read moreNothing really bad about this new location. The place is still clean after a few weeks of grand opening. The colors inside are bright and shine. 2 drive through lanes, outdoor sitting, big parking lot thats shared with the business building nearby. Near the 60s freeway to make traveler more convenient for a quick bite.
I got here around 1145 and it got quite busy. There are 3 kiosk machines so its more like a self ordering system. There is one counter that none of the workers were standing by so I guess the counter was just a backup in case it gets too crowded or the machines malfunction. Alot of mobile orders too so if you decide to order food here, plan ahead. There is a tc screen up top where the pickup food counter and the information shows the order status.
I order 3 pieces of legs and one cajun fries. Waited around 10 minutes. I don’t mind the wait since its lunch time but the chicken that came out weren’t that hot so not sure what took them so long to do my order since they are just grabbing the chickens from their oven. If they have to make new ones then I understand the wait time and the food should be more hot.
Anyways, other than the wait, everything else is fine and what can you expect more from a fast food restaurant. I give them the nicer way...
