Subway — Restaurant in Diamondhead

Staff tend to come off openly hostile, I don't feel the put much effort into training staff, or much care. It seems like they will take anyone who applies. In defense of the staff they always seem to be short handed/under staffed.

Not uncommon for employees behind counter to look visible irritated/angry most of the time I come in. Also the only location I know of which will send promotional fliers/coupons out monthly only to tell you they are not accepting them. I could understand if there was 2-3 locations in a town for 1 not to accept their own coupons .. but this is the only location in town .... its the only location within 25 miles ... telling me coupons are sent out in the thousands monthly in our town when the closest location that accepts them is 2 towns over?

Location has gone down hill, inside it looks like its run out of a old mobile home (seriously) low hanging ceilings with fans .. I've hit my head on these fans 2 times. I'm 6'2 I'm not that tall, why are fan blades spinning 6 foot off the ground.

Respectfully, I do not recommend...

This subway has went down over the years ever since the owner stopped working at it. The subway never “opens” or “closes” at the times listed, and if you do happen to catch them when they open, you will notice whoever closed the night before, didn’t even bother to sweep or clean. It’s disgusting. Oh and don’t bother getting a fountain drink, either they are out of ice or your favorite soda is out and it just shoots out carbonated liquid. I used to say Burger King was the worst food place in Diamondhead, but I would say Subway is taking that crown. Have it your way? Nah, they are out of the most common breads or toppings that you would want.

If the owner reads this, please start checking up on your Subway, it’s a far cry from what it used to be when you were there daily many years ago.

Until this changes, take a few extra minutes and drive over to the Bay exit and go to the Subway at the Gators...

Slowest Subway experience of my life. There were three people working. One girl sitting at a chair at the cash register, and a girl and boy making my two sandwiches. They were laughing and talking about how bored they were and kept glancing at me and apologizing - not sure if it was because it took 15 minutes to make two sandwiches or because they realized they were being rude. I worked at a sandwich shop for 2 years and we were taught to converse with and always have a smile on our face while talking to customers and to get the customers out of the store in under 6 minutes. Not sure if someone can help them, but they really need re-training by a professional that wants to run a business that people come back to. The kids working here do not care about your business and I guarantee there are people that would like to...
