Seven Months Ago- The level of disrespect I received at this location left me stunned. They asked me to pull forward and wait for my four apple pies to complete my order. They told me before I ordered them that it would take 10 minutes. No problem. Fresh pie is good. I ended up parking and going in because there was another car in front of me. My truck was blocking the drive through. I went in and told the young man I was waiting on four pies. I was going to tell him that I would wait on the bench, so they wouldn’t go out the side door to find me. Another customer came up and interrupted me as I was speaking to the employee. The employee turned away from me as I was speaking and started helping the young man who interrupted me. When he was done helping the rude customer, he walked away from me without speaking. I stood there for about a minute and when he walked by, I told him to keep the pies. I paid for four pies and left them on purpose to prevent speaking angrily at the kid. I will not be disregarded as some old man who is second place to younger customers and I will be listened to when I am speaking to an employee. Especially when I am being kind to them and other customers. I will not do business with any McDonalds for a year. Then I’ll see if they’ve learned common flipping politeness.
7/30 - It’s been seven months. My grandson is visiting us. He wants a Sausage McGriddle. I couldn’t say no. I place the order; “Two sausage and eggs biscuits- one of them with cheese. Three sausage McGriddles.” They reply, “do you want cheese on the Sausage McGriddles.” I say, “No thank you, I want three Sausage McGriddles, I only want cheese on one of the Sausage Egg Biscuits.” Their screen is out. You can’t check the order. It charges to my app. I pull forward and they hand me a bag of three Sausage Egg Biscuits (two with cheese) and six Sausage McGriddles. I’m not unpacking my grandson from his car seat to go and fix the order. I gave the extra food to the homeless guy on 1764.
8/1- Today (approximately 12:00 PM) My grandson wants a Happy Meal. I order it, a Big Mac, and a 10 piece chicken nugget meal. Pay with app. Pull up to window and they start handing me two kids drinks. It turns out, they charged me for two Happy Meals. Same problem. You can’t check the order on their broken screen, I can’t get my grandson out of the car and go in, Ice cream from HEB is starting to melt. I tell the guy to keep the other Happy Meal. I paid for it, but just left it there.
I’m not making this up. This has to be one of the most screwed up fast food restaurants in the US. It is mind boggling bad. Thank GOD there are choices other than this. You couldn’t drag me into that location again. Three times in a row. -THREE...
Read moreWe went in with our whole family (four adults and 4 children) around 11am. We had gone out of our way to this location so that our kids could let some energy out in the play place. When we arrived, the play place was closed, and we were told that it would be opening up at 12pm. This was also indicated with a sign on the outside of the play place door, that read “Closed from 9am-12pm”. We hesitantly decided that if we ate first, that we could burn some time to wait for the play place we came for. The gentleman at the front counter was helpful and made sure that we were set up to eat. There was another family sitting next to us that also waiting for the play place to open and we bid our time with the food.
When 12pm rolled around the kids (who had been told now, after waiting an hour, it was finally time to play) went over to the door to start playing, but saw that the entryway was still blocked. We went over to see what’s was keeping them from playing and we saw some kind of meeting happening. After standing outside of the door for 5ish minutes, Jeanette (who appeared to be leading the meeting) came to the door. She proceed to look at the posted sign (that said 12pm) and with her finger, erased the “1” stating somewhat dismissively “Our meeting started late, the play place will be closed till 2pm now.” Then turned to walk away. Since this wasn’t announced to the lobby, we had to inform not only the guest that were sitting near us, but even another who had come in with children.
There was no attempt to rectify, or genuine concern given. This was disappointing to say the least given that had we known this is how flippantly the posted notice would be adhered to we would’ve eaten elsewhere (I write this sitting at a Chick-fil-A so my kids can finally let out their jitters).
This location is near us, and due to the play place, we will likely be back. However should we see any posted signage regarding the play place “opening at X time” we will never be able to trust this again, and would caution anyone else to...
Read moreWent to pick up an order for delivery. I came in and told them the order number and showed them my phone and they said wait a minute and they'd get it. Keep in mind it already took me 15 minutes to get there after the order was placed. I stood there and waited with one worker saying a bag was my order. Then as he finished taping it up he read the order numbers again and they didn't match? It wasn't even that busy so I don't know how he got confused when I'd told him the number sevral times. Then the manager came over and said they didn't have my order? I repeated the address on my app and she said yeah but we don't have it? She offered absolutely no help after I'd been standing there waiting. If the store address is right and they seemed so sure they had the order when I came in then how do they suddenly not have the order? Why wouldn't she try to help me at all? She just kept telling me they didn't have the order. I have the GPS on my phone up in the delivery app telling me exactly where the store is how would I even have the wrong store? It was very strange and sketchy. I can't believe she wouldn't even look at their orders to see what could have happened. She just wanted me to leave. I had to cancel the delivery and that hurts my ratings and makes me look bad when I'm already at the restaurant for it. I bet she tried to say I stole it or something after I left then took the food herself. Mc Donald's is already one of the worst places to pick up from so I think after this experience I'll make sure not to take any pick ups from...
