Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Dickson

This was a GREAT Experience!! We live in the country in a 3 city triangle of West Tennessee, all three cities have a Sonic... ALL of which have a Sonic that totally sucks!! So, we do not have a good Sonic in a reasonable driving distance to home. On this day, we were in a hurry but needing to grab a quick meal. It was getting kinda late, so we didn't want to fool with going in somewhere. My wife and I both like Sonic, but as I said don't go to our local locations. We decided to give this one a shot. I was impressed right off when a very well speaking man answered the call button! He then called off my order exactly as I had told him... and Yep! the food came out as ordered!! It was even hot!! The young lady who brought the food was very friendly and polite! I can not say enough about how impressed we were. Later as we were driving home, my wife decided to call the location and tell them just how happy we were. She spoke to the manager, who we think took our order, and told him our story. He was happy to hear from us and invited us back. Sad thing is that this location is over a hour from our home... On a recent trip to Nashville, we needed a quick lunch... There was no question. We stopped in this same location. Different crew working, but everything was GREAT! Another friendly voice answered the call button, order was correct and hot, server was just as friendly as before. I have said before, it all starts with the management. I truly wish this manager lived in our area!! Or maybe could drop in and give ours some pointers!! We will stop here again when...

Did your wife ask for a divorce? Did your dog die? Did you get fired from your job???? Add to your disappointment by stopping at the famous “World’s most underwhelming Sonic”!!! This sonic single handedly got me through my crippling bouts of depression by showing me that it can always be worse! We just ordered Sunday breakfast. My wife’s “go to” item is the ultimate meat and cheese breakfast burrito. So she ordered that. What she received though was not that. The only thing “ultimate” about it was that it was an ultimate piece of redacted that looked sad and can only really be described by song and that song would be “hurt” by nine inch nails and famously covered by Johnny Cash. This micro burrito was 4 inches (I measured) of sadness and regret (also, I know some women might say 4 inches isn’t small….and it’s perfect because it doesn’t hurt like the big ones….but not for burrito length!!!). Also, our overpriced iced coffees were 2/3 full. Next time you need a reminder that you aren’t a complete failure, take a drive down to this sonic for affirmation…..just don’t...

I was ridiculously frustrated this evening. I went by sonic and ordered (2) milkshakes. I ordered a banana and chocolate milkshake and a vanilla m&m blast. I paid the 8 bucks for both and waited. Twenty minutes go by and I had not received my shakes. I called on the stall button and asked how much longer it would be on the shakes. I got no response and then suddenly was told their blast machine was no longer working. I asked why they didnt state that to begin with. They apologized and said they could do a regular shake with m&ms. I said that was fine and that I understood. I waited and a sonic server brought me both of my milkshakes and I asked if there were m&m's in the shake and I was told yes. I looked through my milkshake and there were none in there. I was lied to and I called again through the stall and asked to speak to a manager because at that point I am hot and frustrated. The manager then told me the blast machine was working?
