Avoid this place at all cost!! really even Many hotels in this area with better prices and I pray they have better customer relation skills. I have never been treated second class by an owner of a brand name hotel until this stay. Apparently every location has different policies which is no problem until you are not told of such policies and they are not documented anywhere. I do not appreciate other people in my room with personal valuables in my room when no safe is provided. I have the do not disturb sign on the door but apparently they are forcing to come in and service my room. I have only been here not even a week. While I also should mention I brought my own sheets and my own comforter because I dont trust any hotel not just this one. So apparently there is a hidden policy that says they can come in even if the do not disturb is on your door. I kindly asked the owner for documentation showing this was indeed this hotels policy. She could not provide any written documents showing this policy. Mind you the entire time she is raising her voice at me and rolling her eyes in disgust because I am asking this of her. I graduated college with a communications degree with future goals of customer service and I can assure you that is not how to treat your customer especially being the owner. The customer should be told upon check in that there is a mandatory cleaning where they have to come into my room. I also watched as she simply let a group that came in looking to stay for a night walk right out regarding prices. No pride and no care or action taking to try and bring customers in or continue having customers in the future. Its decent place to stay until you look up surrounding hotels with the same amenities for 10-20 dollars cheaper. Other than the owner, staff has been friendly so no bad words on other staff but the owner reflects the hotel and the brand prides itself on customer care and that was not received at all. Pinky even said she does not treat customers that way so I asked her if I did anything out of line to cause her reaction/response she said I did not step out of line. I was polite and only trying to receive proof of this policy for my personal Privacy. Not the way to go Best Western. corporate was polite and handled the situation as far as the owners here they do not hold the standards of Best Western true.

Edit: Realized right after posting, the staff seemed wonderful in my brief interactions with them. So credit where its due, the front desk workers were very nice. Edit 2 Response to Guest Relations: I did notify the front desk attendant of the state of the room. I did not want to stay in a different room. With this many issues in the room I did not want to take the chance on another room. So in all fairness I did not give Best Western a chance to relocate me.

6 July 2024 The hotel room was ok, but we were startled awake in the morning by people blowing off the parking lot with leaf blowers. I went to the desk and asked why there were people blowing off the parking lot at 730 am in the morning. it woke us, and I'm sure others. She said she told them not to be working near the room and that she would say something to them. So I went outside and spoke to the person running the grass cutting crew. He told me the manager said to blow off everything, and he did not care if it disturbed the guest. So I went back inside to speak to the manager, and the desk clerk said he was not here at the moment and did not know when he would be back. Also, she had not spoken to the grass crew either. She said she tired to call them. I said, Do you think they are going to be able to hear a phone when they are using leaf blowers and have earmuffs on? She finally went out the door to say something. I recorded the conversation, but you can't upload voice data.

6 July 2024 The hotel room was ok, but we were startled awake in the morning by people blowing off the parking lot with leaf blowers. The Best Western in Dickson Tennessee is located next door to a steakhouse near main highway directly adjacent to the I-40 interstate. This means that you're not traveling very far from I-40 to get there which is very convenient. It also means that there is the occasional noise. The rooms are well insulated so this is not usually an issue at all. The side facing the steakhouse does have some noise if no other noise is in place such as a TV or music as the restaurant plays music fairly loudly over there speaker systems which is not intrusive. I've stayed at this Best Western nearly a dozen times, and the majority, four out of five rooms have upgraded televisions no major damage or poor plumbing installation and AC that works very well. The rooms lead directly to the parking lot or the above balcony, so you may occasionally have the experience of hearing someone as they go by your room or have conversations in the parking lot. I've never had an issue that concerned me at this location. The staff are very kind attentive with quick chickens and check outs, always greeted with a smile and their lobby area is clean and well taken care of. The beds are comfortable the linen is clean and the rooms are serviced with soap towels shampoo conditioner toilet paper and tissues with multiple outlets plugging in devices, desk and chair, a small couch sitting space. Overall, I've had positive experiences at this location and I would say that in this specific vicinity, this is one of the best hotels when compared to others like it. Choose this over roadway inn, are the other two two star hotels nearby. The comfort inn at the far rear of the road near cracker Barrel is usually 20 to $30 more expensive for a night stay. While it's exterior, interior pool, gym, and bathrooms are of a higher quality and benefits to it, if you're looking for a place to stay that's comfortable, safe, and convenient at a decent rate; it's hard to beat this Best...

"This place may look nice but it leaves a LOT to be desired. From dog crap on the walkways, cracked sinks, leftover food in the refrigerator, TV issues, A/C problems, this is one place to drive right by. Stopped by on a business trip, the pictures online looked "ok" but the reality quite different. Check out the pictures for what you may likely find at this place.||||• Found Dog Crap outside my door, no one bothers to pick it up.||• You should carry an umbrella because A/C condensation drips everywhere, from the second floor, everywhere. There are rust stains and bags everywhere from condensation dripping.||• The room had a stench and it was coming from the fridge. Opening it, I found 2 POUNDS of Genoa Salami, gawd knows how long it was in there, but gag...it was putrid.||• The "Rules" of the hotel were in a plastic sleeve with MOLD. Nice.||• The bathroom sink bowl had a huge crack in it.||• Lamps and appliances all have rust on them, lampshades filthy. Paint peeling everywhere, bathroom ceiling has water damage spots, ready to cave in.||• The A/C unit has remote control but the remote didn't work to control it. I went down to the front desk to see if they had fresh batteries or a different remote. To his credit, the front desk guy did go look for another, even went through some other rooms to steal one of of another room, but ultimately he came up empty. Guess non-functional remotes are common at this hotel, so adjusting the A/C temps were a problem, not that they seem to care about anything at this place. I mean, if I can find all these things wrong in less than 10 minutes of arriving, WHY CAN'T THEY SEE THE OBVIOUS? IF I could give it ZERO stars I would. I wouldn't stay here if they offered a free stay, it was awful. After the fact they offered a 15% discount or something, but if I was dead, I wouldn't let my body stay at this place,...
