The Stables — Restaurant in Dixon Township

Unfortunate night visiting at this bar. Called ahead of time to make sure they would be able to play the bucks game on TV, and upon arrival we were treated like royalty (aside from the subpar Google search bartending). Mind you, we were the only people in the bar- so if the bartender wasn't paying attention to us I'm not sure what she would be doing. Upon her clear group of friends arriving, she turned the sound off on the game entirely without acknowledging us, and turned on the radio which only had commercials playing. When asked if she could turn the volume on the game up slightly, she responded with an attitude and acted in a pompous manner as if to impressive her friend circle that had showed up. She ignored our empty drinks to serve the other patrons of the bar. So disappointed as we would have spent a lot of money at this bar. Will not...

To Melissa Beck...The Stables is a bar, not a restaurant. Bartenders do not come out from behind the bar to serve/take orders at the tables, esp since there is usually only 1 bartender per shift. Also, the 4 tables are literally 3-4 feet from the bar. You should really go back, I’m sure they would love to serve...
