I am a big fan of The Habit Burger, however this quick stop of the freeway was a huge mistake! I saw the closed sign in the window so I asked a worker that happened to be outside, she said they were open. I wasn't greeted so I thought the young lady at the register was taking orders for the drive thru ( she had a headset on) So I finally make my order, then I'm told I need to wait outside, after waiting 15 mins for a kids meal and an order of green beans ( there was no one else in there) I go back in and see the cashier standing in the back, I ask the guy cooking about the order, which was sitting on the counter, cold at this point! So it appears the cashier didn't intend on bringing our food out after she told us to wait outside. I then saw another worker go into the restaurant and switch the sign to open, it's 5:00pm at this point. Just a very unprofessional Habit all the way around. I will never spend my money at this location again. No receipt given either which has never happened at any other Habit. This place definitely needs to have some secret shoppers. I could say a lot...

I pulled off the free-way to stretch after four hours driving and I saw their sign . Ive never seen it before but it seemed to be talking right to me. Because I must admit to my affection to beef. I wasnt even really hungry but I decided I had better try it out. I ordered the Santa Barbara something which consists of 2 patties,lettuce,tomato,grilled onion and avocado on grilled Sourdough.I think it might have had some kind of cheese but I'm not sure but regardless I was treated to an awesome burger. I mean WOW!!! So good I need to share my experience while eating this burger I had a horrific thing happen to me. So Im still savoring the first half when the burger tray started to slide to the side of my leg. So I tried to stop it but wasn't quick enough and boom it's on the floor among cigarette cellophanes, cigarette ashes and who knows what else OMG!! So I'm bummed out as I picked it up. Usually I would throw it away ,but didn't which is a certificate of either it was an incredible burger and/or my hamburger...
