Terrible Customer and Courier Service
I am both a frequent customer of McDonald’s and a delivery courier (DoorDash/Uber Eats). Unfortunately, the service and atmosphere at this location leave much to be desired. The staff’s attitude towards customers is extremely poor—they are often rude and disrespectful. This kind of behavior is especially evident toward delivery couriers.
Couriers constantly face unjustified complaints and threats of account suspension, even when following the rules perfectly. Meanwhile, we always wait patiently for orders, respect the staff’s workload, and never interfere with their work. However, managers frequently display unprofessional behavior, especially when training new employees. They publicly humiliate couriers to assert their authority in front of their colleagues, even though we are not their subordinates.
Age or personal circumstances don’t seem to matter to them— even pregnant women are scolded and accused of not following delivery procedures. This is completely unacceptable! People with such attitudes should not work in customer service, as they set a terrible example for their team.
When my husband tried to discuss the situation with the general manager, he wasn’t even given a chance to speak, simply because his English isn’t perfect. This is highly unprofessional! The issue was ignored, no one tried to understand or resolve it, and fairness was nowhere to be found.
Having worked in the delivery industry for a long time, I know how to interact with customers and restaurant staff. However, I have never encountered such rudeness and discrimination as in this location. It is disappointing to experience this level of service from a well-known chain that should uphold high standards of...
Read moreThe food is normally fine, good even, but the drive-through service is in severe need of some changes. Every time I go through the drive-through they ask me to pull around to one of the spaces in front because my food isn't ready. Inevitably those spaces are already full and it creates a huge problem trying to determine which food goes where. Today I pulled up to the window and the server hands me my Soda and I ask for some ketchup to go with it. So she sticks a wad of ketchup out the window. I then have to explain that I'd like for the ketchup to be in the bag with the food. Then she says the food isn't ready and the person behind me only ordered a drink so I should pull around to the front. I explained my problems with this system and that it's really not my concern what the person behind me ordered. Took them less than 60 seconds to hand me my food bag. With no ketchup of course.
Downgrading this to one star. I ordered a quarter pounder with no mayo in the drive-through tonight and somehow the associate thought I ordered a chicken sandwich. We fixed that but then they had me pull around and wait forever in the front which they always do when I order something without mayo. That would be alright except I get home to a burger absolutely caked in mayo like they put extra. Get your act together. Either be wrong and fast or right an slow but not...
Read moreDoes anyone else notice that no one from McDonald's is addressing anyone's reviews? Clearly, they don't care when we have a horrible experience like the one I just had.
This McDonald's makes me pull forward into a parking spot and wait every time I order a plain quarter pounder with cheese meal. They say it's because of the fries, but when my meal finally comes, the fries aren't fresh.
I finally decided to not pull forward anymore. The first couple times were fine, but this time the manager came to the window and firmly told me to pull forward and park. When I explained why I wouldn't, she told me the wait isn't that long. Then I said I'll wait at the window.
I finally just got a refund, then the manager told me, "I hope your day gets better." If there was any substance behind that statement, she would have gotten me my meal right there.
I was eating at McDonald's more than 6 times a week (usually breakfast and dinner), but they just lost me for the Habit across the street, which I discovered actually made a better-tasting burger. Although I'm bummed because now I won't even go to my other two regular McDonald's where I have never been asked to wait.
This McDonald's did not make me smile. It...
