What a horrible experience. Flies, slow service, and unfair treatment is what you can expert when eating at Aprile. First, we parked and walked in - there’s no hostess stand or sign or anything so we just waited around signaling to the staff looking for some direction if we should seat wherever or if they would seat us. A young lady (blonde and very long hair) looked at us and told us where we could seat. I asked to be seated at the booth. She said that it was reserved. Later a couple of men came in, sat down and moved the reserved number to another table. When i asked her about it she said that the men where just “maleducados” meaning without education or manners. She literally insulted the clients instead of apologizing. We ordered spicy margarita and smoked old fashioned for drinks, and the ruota with tartufo for me and vodka for my partner. The entire time we had to be moving around our napkins because there were flies all over our food. The table next to us even made a comment about it. Mind you and food is not cheap - we paid $157. And we get flies. DISGUSTING! Service was ok. Our waiter was friendly and answered any questions and even gave us good recommendations. Its unfortunate that he was the only one working the floor (other than bus boys) he was doing his best but as you can imagine very slow service. They have no signal service, which is not their fault I suppose but they have 6 different Wi-Fi networks all locked. Lastly, im sure this has to be CRIMINAL but they're charging over 8% sales tax. Overall, like i said horrible experience. Flies, slow service, and unfair treatment is what you can expect when eating at Aprile. Do...
Read morethere service was good they sat us down at the moment we got there but the wifi is super slow so they tell you to connect to their Wifi and it’s still bad but you know the water came fast they asked if we wanted anything to drink and we asked for water and they brought it fast but then we ordered the food and they took forever and then when the food got here it looked super good so we we’re all excited and it smelled super good but the meat wasn’t seasoned and they over cooked mine I asked for well cooked and it was almost burnt and my mom asked medium rare and they also over cooked it was almost well cooked and my step dad ordered medium cooked and that shit had blood dripping out of it and the fish was also not seasoned the pasta looked so good and then when I tried it . that shit was not good also not seasoned the cheese was the only thing that gave it flavor los mariscos had no flavor even with the salsa and my step dad got una pasta with like cheese on top but it’s like made in the oven and it’s not good like at all and the drinks aren’t good my brother asked for un mojito and it tasted like lemonade not even the good type of lemonade and the wine was ok it was a lil amargo pero it was ok and they gave us sum breads at the beginning and those were good but still each plate was like 40 sum bucks and it was not worth it at all in total it was $273 and honestly not worth it and the bathrooms is on at a time it doesn’t have stalls for multiple people so I suggest you use the bathroom before you go to the restaurant but it was clean so...
Read moreAfter so many friends telling me I had to try it; some friends and I gave in. First and last visit. Luca Osteria or Zucca will ever be my go to for Italian.
First and foremost; their social media looks delicious but after eating at their establishment it’s a whole different story.
We started our night with their French Sauvignon Blanc. Very pleasant but they need to improve their wine list choices.
For appetizers:
• Calamari Fritti were okay. Sauce was good but asked the waiter twice for Lemon and he never brought it to our table. BUMMER! • Corvina Ceviche no comments. Leche de Tigre sauce again no comments. Big appetizer yes but it was literally just lemon with white fish.
For entrée:
• Gnocchi was a hit on the table as 3 out of 6 ordered that dish but upon trying not so much. Sauce was heavy and bland. • Truffle Fiochetti Pasta was nothing out of this world. More pasta dough than Ricotta Cheese. Not very pleasant. Truffle flavor is on point though. • Aprile Routa Pasta with no protein but substitute it with Mushroom. Birthday girl loved it! So we were happy on that note. • Frutti di Mare Pasta could’ve been better if the Mussel’s or Calamari weren’t over cooked.
We decided to get dessert at Pisco y Nazca because after the food experience we didn’t want to risk it with the best part of the meal. Best part of this place is the...
