Bird Road Churrasqueria — Restaurant in Doral

We have been regulars at this restaurant since it opened and tonight was the first time that I felt like they have lost my business. We got the check at the end of our meal and scanned the QR code on the bottom to pay online with the phone. I selected the tip amount and then tried adjusting that amount but it ended up charging the tip twice so I didn’t proceed with paying the check online. We gave the credit card for them to charge us at the restaurant and they conveniently said there was no way to reverse the added tip since the QR scan was linked to the same system they use to charge the bill. I’m sure there was a way to void the check and create a new check but it seemed like the waitress wasn’t willing to figure it out and basically forced us to pay the additional mistaken tip. We’ve been here MANY MANY times and have tried very hard to promote them to our family and friends to help build their clientele since it’s always empty every time we come but I will no longer promote them or continue to support them. I had an incredible dining experience at Bird Road Churrasqueria! The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and served fresh. My husband and I absolutely love this place! It’s a small locale right on Bird Road, really close to our home, so for us is a great spot to eat amazing meats any day of the week without traveling too far. The service is flawless, the server is super friendly and attentive. We always feel welcomed and well served, which nowadays, sadly, is hard to find. The food is delicious.
