Sushi Sake Bird Road — Restaurant in Doral

Worst place to go. Service is really bad, servers are to young they don’t know how to Serve. Takes forever to bring food and or any request. On 8/17 I order chicken hibachi and sushi , they brought the soup first (good) then the chicken hibachi and while I was eating the hibachi they brought the sushi. They did not know the order of an appetizer… there was a hair on the sauce , I did not complain just took it off, but later I found a roach leg which I called the waitress and she told the manager ; he said I can take the plate to the chef and make sure what it is , after awhile he came back with my plate and said the chef said that it was dirt or garbage from the vegetables 😳and then asked me if I wanted to keep eating, really… after my food was touched I was really in shocked, let along that I have roach fobia . I’m even proud of myself that i did not put of a show. Then the waitress told that the manager was going yo give 50% off (what) I told her no inlay my full bill because that even offended me when they were supposed yo bring me a news plate with new food and not charge for anything…...

I've always had trouble at Sushi Sake before . The last tome i had dinner there I waited 1hr and 55 min for my food and it was done wrong when it came. After 10 months I decided to order 3 sushi rolls to go because i was at that shopping center. Well they really did it this time. $32.40 for 2 rolls ...yes they got the order wrong again even though I wrote it down for them on a piece of paper . The manager who was between 16 and 21 years old. Refused to refund what i thought were overcharges. I asked for no seaweed on my 3 rolls 2 California and 1 Angel roll well they charged 1 Dollar which translated into$1.50 when moved to the paying column (?) and then they charged $2.00 for rice paper ...that is $3.50 each roll...or $7.00 dollars because the manager said"that's the way it is in our system and we can not change it or refund or give you anything". Of course No one can read there because the order was for 3 rolls and I got 2. SAVE yourself the aggravation ,if prices above the norm irritate you because you feel ripped off...and don't...

This place is average at best. The sushi rolls were mushy, soggy, tasteless and served in tin foil. The quality of the fish is average especially noticeable in the sashimi and nigiri. The presentation of the rolls (tin foil) and the sashimi (served on a slice of orange) were new experiences for me and not very positive. Long story short, I would not come to Sushi Sake for sushi. The best thing we ordered (party of six) was the fried rice. So much so that one person abandoned their sushi and ordered a rice instead. At the end of the meal I was left wishing I had ordered two fried rice and no sushi. My bill would've been a fourth of the price and I would have been MUCH more satisfied. The service left more to be desired as well. The waitress never came to refill our water during our whole meal. On a positive note, she was able to remember our orders and divide the checks properly. The decor is modern and trendy. Unfortunately neither of those things are enough to make me want to come back, not for a fried rice and especially...
