I thought that the client is first, or at least deserves respect and good service, but when visiting this place I see the opposite, the owner lady is rude, it seems that it bothered her to take good care of the client, and the employees are worst, they do not sell what the client asks them, they choose what they want, of 6 servings of the same product they choose the smallest, when I asked them to give me another one, they answered that "they can not"... why??... I’m going to pay for that, I’m not asking something for free, there are several portions of the same thing, why I can not choose???... Honestly I do not recommend this place, never to return and I’m going to talk about how bad they made me feel with all my acquaintances.
Pensé que el cliente es primero, o al menos merece respeto y buen servicio, pero al visitar este lugar veo lo contrario, la propietaria es grosera, parece que le molestó cuidar bien al cliente, y los empleados son peor, ellos no venden lo que el cliente les pide, eligen lo que quieren, de 6 porciones del mismo producto ellos eligen la porción más pequeña, cuando les pedí que me dieran otro, respondieron que "no pueden"... ¿por qué? ... yo voy a pagar por eso, no estoy pidiendo nada gratis, hay varias porciones de la misma cosa, ¿por qué no puedo elegir? ... Honestamente no recomiendo este lugar, nunca regresaré y voy a hablar sobre lo mal que me hicieron sentir con todos...
Read moreToday I went to this cafe and I ordered some pastries, two drinks and a coffee. I sat down with my boss to go over a report on my computer (using my own wi-fi since they do not have any here) We were sitting for less than 20 min when they started arranging all the tables on the other side of the bakery. They also started talking among themselves and giving us pretty dirty looks that made me feel very uncomfortable. About a minute later, a lady walks us, assuming by her demeanor she must be the owner, and says "I need you to leave since I need this table in less than 30 minutes" I couldn't even believe she spoke to us that way so I just told her " Wow, that is some very good service" she goes on to say "Well this is not an office!" and we say "Don't worry, we are not coming back here" and she goes on to reply "That sounds very good to me". I was appalled by her definition of "The Customer is always right" and I wish I could translate the look on her face and the way she spoke to us through this review. I do understand people abuse of such places as offices but I also feel in a bakery-cafe type of setting, it is actually an inviting place to sit quietly and work on your computer for a reasonable amount of time, especially since you are ordering and paying for their services. How is this any different than sitting with a friend to talk for an hour over a coffee? I wondered if she would have thrown us out...
Read more6 Year ago I discovered this magic place, and during 4 years I enjoyed all kind of delicacies as profiterole, "mil hojas", pizzas sandwiches, coffee, etc . Their owners Dino ( R.I.P) , and his wife a sweet heart with a toughness character where so special that I was trying to find any excuse to pass by and enjoy their conversations accompanied with their incredible products. So well, today I returned to the bakery and I am feeling so sad, due to the emptiness, don't take me wrong , the sweet pastries, the empanadas and the coffee were outstanding , but having no tables to take a seat and chat made this place loose his charm. I will like to return very soon and talk to her owner, in order to express my concerns and my deep desire to see again Via Veneto full of very happy customers, so please get your tables back, Doral neighbors will be more than happy..
