I ordered a polor pie for my sister's birthday. I placed order on Monday July 17th and for pickup on Friday, July 21st after 12pm. I walked in the store with a few customers waiting to be served by the only employee in the store. Dana was her name and she did the best job as she could being the only one there. When it was my turn I told her I was going to pick up the pie I ordered. I wanted to see if I got what I ordered -- it looked like a 2 yr old play mud pie making. It was horrible. She called the manager who was supposed to be at the bankbut has been gone for 1hr already. I wanted a new one made. Dana tried explain that to the manager but she said just throw Reese's pieces on it and tell me to accept it. 1 hour later manager showed up and she ignored me completely. She was fussing at Dana about the money not being right for deposit. She was walking out the door when I stopped her and asked about my situation. She told me that the main office will have to cancel the order and I will get a credit back in weeks to come. I asked her to replace the pie with ice cream already packed. She hesitated and was walking out the door to her car. I have been a customer of Baskin Robbins since I was a toddler. Every Sunday grandpa told me for bubblegum ice cream cones. I took a Uber to pick up my order, they left me there and had to come back to get me. I was Pissed at manager but Dana should get a promotion or make her manager. The young lady you have as manager was cussing about her job and at Dana for the job she was doing. Manager should never leave during operation hours. Never leave only one employee in the store alone because things can get bad real quick. I can't believe that she has no concern about the welfare of the safety of her other employee. Too much crime these days and Dana could be robbed, kidnapped or worst killed over the little money there. Life is too important to suffer for an income. Make changes to your policy about safety in the workplace. ( Never visiting the Baskin Robbins store on Ross Clark Circle in Dothan,...
Read moreThis problem I have with this establishment are the employee's! They are an absolute disgrace and if I were the DM, GM, and CEO of this company, I would be absolutely embarrassed. I hope that some type of manager sees this review. My husband and I went into this store to get a cappuccino blast between 8:30 and 9:00pm tonight, November 29, 2018. As we were waiting for our order a lady in a wheelchair came in with what seemed to have been her son or maybe even a friend. While the lady was waiting on her order, she had an accident on herself. The lady went into the bathroom to try and clean herself up. While she was in the bathroom EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE BEHIND THAT COUNTER WAS MAKING FUN OF HER! They were laughing and saying how nasty she was. I could not believe what I was hearing and seeing. As she came out of the bathroom she was in tears because she heard what all the employees were saying. There were even grown adults in the store with small children laughing at her. One little girl had to go to the bathroom and the mother said, " your not going in that nasty bathroom after her ". I am in absolute SHOCK at the way these people were treating and talking about this disabled lady. To make matters worse, this lady and man are HOMELESS! And yes, I know they are homeless because my husband and I sat and watched where they went after they left the store. This lady was simply trying to clean herself up #1 because it's very apparent that she could not help herself and #2 because SHE DOES NOT HAVE A HOME OR BATHROOM TO GO TO!! I cannot fathom how on earth ANYONE can be as cruel and heartless as these Baskin Robbins employees and the people that were inside the store at the time were. These are the faces of " Baskin Robbins ". AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! I WILL NEVER SPEND MY MONEY OR WALK INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT E.V.E.R. AGAIN! I wish there was an option...
Read moreThe service here has never been that great. I come usually once a week because I enjoy milkshakes in general not just from here. My first two (2) times coming here the shake instantly upset my stomach within 20 minutes. Not sure why, but I assumed it was the milk they used. So my next time around, I asked if they could use less milk. Boy was that a mistake; on one occasion they added water, how do think that tasted? When I went back again on a separate trip. I asked for less milk, they gave me just a little more than half a cup of milkshake and charged me the regular price, I was pissed.
I returned one more time to give this place a final chance. This time I asked for less milk and I told them I wanted the full cup of milkshake. The drive thru representative said they would have to charge me for an extra scoop to get a full cup. I regularly get a full cup anyway and I have never been charged for an extra scoop. I told her ok I'll pay for the extra scoop. A whopping $13.00 dollars later and I got a milkshake.
$13.00 dollars for a milkshake is absurd. My case and point is; I'm not lactose intolerant, but I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one if I was. However, why must I receive water in my shake on one occasion, half a shake on another occasion, and be over charged on a third occasion, because of a special dietary need. There should be a more uniform way to handle this for customers at this establishment to keep...
