Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Dothan

Had a terrible experience at this location. I didn't learn any names but the employee at the till was generally cold and didn't seem very passionate. That wouldn't inspire me to write a review, I've despised my customer service jobs and can sympathize. No, what upset me was when I went to fill my drink at the self service area, I pulled down on the tea spigot and the whole piece came off of the tea container. Before I could react and move out of the way my pants were soaked with sticky sweet tea. The spout wasn't screwed on whatsoever. I'm not Hercules, I know my strength and at most that was a light tug. To get the tea to come out you need to pull toward you. Whatever, accidents happen, I was already assuming the person at the register was new. The 1 star is for IGNORING me when I ask for help. They were handling a transaction, but I think most people would recognize that regular service can and should be put on hold when there is a situation that progressively gets worse without intervention. I never got that help I needed from the staff. It was an unrelated customer that helped me out. He plugged the hole while I asked for help, and he reattached the faucet when the employees failed to. Best of all wishes to that man, I hope above hope you are well, you made that incident so much easier to recover from. Won't be dining inside this location again. Ate my food sad and soaked. Food itself is wonderful, and atmosphere is fair. Nothing spectacular but personally I think a lot of the vibe that a restaurant has is the personality of the staff, which doesn't suit fast food well. Still my favorite food to eat, but wow the genuine lack of attention or care from that employee made that such a terrible experience. I understand that the place will likely get better as that particular person gets better at the job or goes to work somewhere else entirely. Bathroom was clean, good job on that. Again food is excellent my favorite item is the Great 8 Boneless Wing Meal. I had been putting off making this review but if necessary I have a picture of the receipt. My two friends and I went Thursday June 29th in the afternoon and placed our order with the Young lady outside. We had two separate orders and on one we did half cash half card. The young lady outside said I would pay half card with her and then give the cash to the workers at the window. When we got to the window the girls working were already upset with the female worker outside saying she shouldn’t have done half card half cash, saying,” this is why we don’t do that.” The lady at the window took her frustration out on us. We payed for the first order which was just card and then she asked rudely if we had a second order and I said yes that’s the one we did half cash half card on. She said okay it’s $27.74 and I informed her I already payed half of it with the lady outside taking orders. She then said,” okay, we’ll now it’s $27.74.” She was trying to over charge me and wasn’t being nice about it. After talking to her coworkers she then came back to the window and said nevermind it’s payed for and asked me to pull forward for my food. We pulled forward and I counted 10 cars get their food before us while we were pulled. We waited 25 minutes . It would have been longer if my friends didn’t decided to go in and get it. We went thru the drive thru today around 419 order number DT172 order total amount was 26.03, this afternoon,it wasn't busy we ordered a sensation salad and a 6 peice chicken finger plate .The cashier pulled us up and we waited for about 10 minutes on our food , the fries were barely warm and the chicken fingerss were tough and dry and not fresh, and the peice if toast was toasted on one side and tough. My husband ate the salad ,he said it was good, however the 6 peice chicken fingers plate was a huge disappointment 😞 I ended up giving it to our dog , it tasted old and tough, barely warm.So I will not be visiting Zaxbys again, especially if your going to pull people up to wait and then serve them old food that isn't good, I will go to goldfingers next their food is hot and fresh not to mention 12.69 plus tax is expensive to pay for a 6 peice tender meal from zaxbys that is old and not warm, I will tell others about zaxbys not to order chicken tender meals because ...
