**Danny's Pizza Review – Douglas, GA** **Overall Rating:** 4/5 **Service:** 3/5 Started out solid but dipped once the place got busy. Felt like they got a little overwhelmed, but no major disasters. **Food:** 4/5 Carol’s pizza was the highlight – flavorful, well-done, and the thin crust hit the spot. The fried mushrooms, though? Definitely straight out of a freezer bag, so don’t go in expecting gourmet apps. **Atmosphere:** Pretty nice overall – good vibes, comfortable setting, and worth a visit for a laid-back night out. **Summary:** If you’re in Douglas and want a solid pizza, Danny’s is a good pick. Just be prepared for some slacking service if it gets crowded, and maybe skip the mushrooms unless you're in the mood for something basic.

So my wife and I decided to give Danny's pizza a try last time we were in Douglass. Our sever was decent. I could go on for hours about the calzones we had though. They were cooked perfectly and both mine and my wife's were delicious. For me that's saying something when you consider that I hate Hawaiian pizza, and my wife got the Hawaiian calzone.

This place is a joke. The “chefs salad” with a tea was $8. It consisted of old iceberg lettuce and dollar store cubed ham. It didn’t include any type of protein or veggies. Simply lettuce, cheese, and some nasty ham. Stay away from the Salad. It’s embarrassing that they would serve that. The schools lunches are superior.

If I could give zero stars i would! This pizza was terrible. One bite everybody knows the rules! Don't usually review but found it necessary to warn others of this atrocity! Worst slop ever! First, we ordered a "kitchen sink" which by the menu should have been "every topping except anchovies and pineapple".What we got included four. Cold tomatoes, flavorless olives and mushrooms, and mushy pepper. We ordered pineapple in addition but this was only received upon reminding the waitress and ten minutes later, cold straight from the freezer. One bite everybody knows the rules! The crust was stale and hard as a triscuit while the toppings and cheese must not have been cooked through. This was a flavorless tombstone home pizza which was 15$ ( we realized later we were charged for a large when we actually had a 11 in which should have been 12$ I believe). Lil Caesars is 3 times better! Save yourself the frustration of this rip off and get a five dollar Walmart pizza or better go 1 minute down the road to Johnny's for 5 star pizza! One bite everybody knows the rules. The owner should be ashamed of feeding people this garbage! One bite everybody knows the rules! Oh and the atmosphere isn't anything to talk about either. Just junk all over the walls and terrible music tiny tables and...

Spent $100.00 plus last night on an order which the employees fixed totally wrong. When Danny Malloy is not there (the owner) its pretty obvious the employees just don't care if you are happy or not as a customer. I Ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant no lettuce what I got was super sweet chicken salad which is not how Danny usually lets it be made its usually very good but this one was sugar sweet; and the only thing on the plate was that with what appeared to be a whole cut-up tomato under it in little chunks! There was no sandwich, no chips, or any pickles that usually come with the sandwich plate from there and they repeated the order back correctly. Yes they were slammed busy I didn't have time to check the order for we left. But they had time to flirt and play in the kitchen. Half the pizzas were wrong unless something changes these local home on businesses are getting just as bad as a McDonald's and other big corporate stores where the employees do not care either! They just see you as a burden or a bother on their job they just want money for nothing I guess they don't realize that if I keep running us off or screwing up our orders and they won't have a job anymore but then again this generation also eats Tide Pods and...

Very cool place with ok food. The jalapeño poppers were cream cheese, which is the kind I like, and very tasty. My husband and I decided to split a calzone with cheese and pepperoni for lunch. It came out slightly burnt on top, and the cheese looked barely melted in the middle. The dipping (marinara) sauce didn't look appetizing at all, and luckily I had ordered ranch to go with the poppers (instead of the jelly that comes with) and still had some. My husband didn't care for their marinara at all. The calzone was cooked through, but was so-so. We've had better at big chain pizza places. Our waitress was pleasant but not attentive, and the restaurant wasn't busy. I've done bartending and waitresses before, so I'm not sure what else was drawing her attention; perhaps just an off day. It happens. It wasn't a bad experience; it wasn't great. The interior has really interesting decor, I'll...
