Let's just negate the fact that I was seated right at the entrance way, which is a bad spot to put anyone! It's a very small, cramped old house converted into a "Restaurant" with young, attractive waitresses to attract the young men who work in the area. As a foodie and avid reviewer, I see this all the time. The food left me disappointed. The sign out front, " Cook Wanted," should've made me get right back in the car. Hamburger was a mess! The patty was small and smashed so much that the edges had wide cracks in it. No condiments on the buns and served with maybe a dozen French fries. It all came on a metal plate approximately 6" x 8" wide with the small Styrofoam container of what they called baked beans! Baked my _ss! They had no taste what so ever! I had to ask for some BBQ Sauce just to make them edible! These beans were straight out of a generic brand can! So, to the folks at "Cow Tippers," put some pride in what you're doing! I know the employees are from the I don't have to and just don't care generation, at some point you have to take the reins and smack that horses _ss and make em do what needs to be done! If you don't, you'll end up Tippin right out of business. You never know when a food critic will come walking through your door. But don't fret too much because this one won't be back. Keep feeding the locals until someone else opens up and steals all your customers. For my reviewers who read this, just avoid disappointment and drive a little further. You'll get more food for less money at McDonald's and...
Read moreMy family and I ate here for the first time tonight and most of the food was pretty good. We ordered burgers and wings with fries, sweet potato fries, and tater tots. The burgers and various fries were all good and enjoyed them, but the wings were not that great. They were fine, but nothing I would reorder. They were a bit over cooked and the Garlic Parmesan seasoning wasn't as good as Johnny's Pizza's of the same flavor. Our server Hannah was nice and attentive. The wait time from when we ordered to when our food came was about 20 minutes which wasn't bad, but was thinking it would have come a little sooner since they were not busy. Pricing is fair, but not great. Our average hamburger meal with double patties with bacon and cheese was $12.95 with a side of fries. Again, not a horrible price, but would expect it to be around $10 to $11 for your basic bacon double cheeseburger. The extra toppings they have all cost anywhere from $.50 to $1.00 extra so you could end up having an expensive hamburger if you like to have a lot of extra toppings like egg, onion, coleslaw, peppers, mushrooms, etc. The basic toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickle, and sauces are at no charge). They also have several "specialty" named burgers that have certain toppings on them that will save you about a $1.00 as opposed to trying to build it yourself. All in all it was a good visit, and we would return if craving a good hamburger, but would likely go elsewhere if we wanted wings. We all left full and didn't have much...
Read moreA colleague and I decided to go for lunch. We arrived at 11:36 and were quickly seated. At 11:39, our drink and food orders were taken. It went down hill from there. We both ordered soup and sandwiches, one water, and a tea. It took about 5 minutes to get the drinks. The water had to be changed out for a Sprite because it tasted like dish water. At this point it is important to mention that a group of six and a group of eight came in about 5 minutes after us. We watched in amazement as their food arrived on their table before ours considering it was mostly burgers. After helping serve their food, the waitress finally came back to our table and realized we still had no food and needed refills. I believe her words were simply "I'm so sorry, let me see about your food". I couldn't tell if she forgot or was embarrassed. Finally at 12:17, we received our sandwiches and cold soup. We did not send it back because at this point it seemed a waste of more time to do so. To add perspective to my disappointment on the service and experience, the two large groups were leaving the parking lot right after we got our food. The waitress came back to our table and apologized for the delay in getting our food. She said she would have the meal discounted. I did not ask for a discount, nor did I expect one. I find it hard to leave a true review if you do. It's a good thing because when we got the bill, it was still full price. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience despite the fact that they...
