Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Douglasville

BEST service I've had at this type of retailer in a LONG time! I wish I knew the employees name to give them full credit! I stopped in last Tuesday headed to a ball game at NMHS down the road. I had been rushed all day and had a young (hungry) child along with me and was going to be at the school for many hours. We stopped at this location - the only place close by to get take out food. I placed the order - and he told me it would be about 10 minutes. So I advised we'd go wait in the car and come back in for it. In much less than that time - the worker approached my car and had the order in hand - and it wasn't like I was parked right there close to the door either.... Super polite and great service! Called to order a pizza for a group of 12 people at 950pm on a Saturday. We were told it would be 35 to 45 minutes for delivery. 90 minutes later, still no pizza. After calling to get an update, found out Papa Johns has no tracking system. They contract deliveries out to DoorDash. After several calls to try and rectify the situation I had to end up going to pick up the order....which was literally 5 minutes from my house. Shout out to Brandon for keeping his cool and fixing the issue. Having said that... I will NEVER order another Papa John pizza. Marcos is where I'll be spending my money from now on. We generally like this location, but tonight's order took 2 hours to arrive - after they called to tell us they were out of bacon, they "messed up the order" (their words, not sure how exactly), sent the driver without one of our pizzas, marked the pizza delivered, and then finally delivered 2 subpar pizzas. Because honestly, it was made badly on top of all the waiting (not enough cheese, not spread well, and the 'half toppings' weren't divided properly). Clearly they knew how to contact us (they called about the bacon), but they never let us know our order was messed up or running late, never apologized, and certainly never did anything to fix the situation.
