Wawa — Restaurant in Dover Township

I usually don’t leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I genuinely believe this location needs to receive so many health and food safety violations. I had my first experience with Wawa tonight through DoorDash where I unfortunately can’t leave a written review and it will be my last. I ordered 2 toasted meatball subs and received only one when it arrived. I opened up the one and immediately upon touching it it was ice cold, hard, and the bread was slimy. I sat it down and didn’t even want to look at what I had just touched because I knew it was bad. I immediately went to report it and noticed when I took the photo of the sandwhich with flash that the provolone cheese I had ordered on it was BRIGHT YELLOW/GREEN like a Mountain Dew Baja blast and had completely hardened. I thought it was PICKLES. I threw it away and the smell of it coming from the trash was so rancid I had to take the trash out to the can! Do not go here. I wish I still had the photo I took from DoorDash to post here. I’m just actually blown away by the food quality, even from a gas station. Do not eat from here. You’re guaranteed to get severe food...

We ordered food at 5:21pm and didn’t get our food until 6:10 pm. When I got home to eat my sandwich, which I got a chicken steak panini. They literally didn’t put the meat on my sandwich!!! So I called the store and the guy told me to bring it back in and they would make me a whole new one, because it was stone cold! I took it in and told them and they gave it back to me and me thinking it’s new sandwich I got back into the car to see the meat on it and they hardly put any meat on it! Then when I got home I noticed it was still the same sandwich, they didn’t even make a new one!!!! They just put the very little meat on it!! $9 for that sandwich and hardly even have any meat!!! Wawa you guys need to do better!! The atmosphere was great, it’s a nice store, but I should of gotten something for your guys mess up and me waiting so long and then having to come back because of your mistake and still not making me a new sandwich! So for dinner I ate a stone cold sandwich....

The experience on my first (maybe my last) visit was nowhere near how I was hoping it to be. First, I thought I could do a quick Grab 'n Go, but I didn't see anything prepared. I was ok with that, but when I was ordering through the Kiosk, the only option it gave me for "egg" was an "egg white omlette". Were they just out of everything else? Not sure. I could only get 1 flavor of bagel as well. I'm hoping they would have more options than that. Then I went to the soda fountain. The coke I got was 90% clear. Tasted horrible. Tried another flavor. It was a little better. Then when I got to the register, I asked for a reward card. She said they didn't have any more. I got my food. I opened it as soon as I got out to the car and I was expecting it to be hot. It was barely luke warm. $7+ for a soda and a sandwich of that quality was not worth it.
