Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in Dover

*2nd review - Today was even better than the first time, if that is possible. I ordered the bowl and for some reason I was thinking it was the one that came with the tortilla shell but it did not. I was a little disappointed because I ordered the wrong thing but the bowl was so delicious I forgot all about that tortilla base LOL. I had the cauliflower wings in the salad (no meat) and I had mango habanero and then I added salsa, black beans, brown rice, cheese, and cilantro. And this was one of the best bowls I have had ever. Now I have two favorites from my first two things that I tried at this restaurant. Can't wait till my next experience! Please open a restaurant in Lewes or Rehoboth or close by.

*First review - This was my first time at this restaurant. I didn't even know it existed until I drove by it last night while I was in Dover. My daughter and I ordered online and I picked it up. The cauliflower bites that I got with the mango habanero sauce were phenomenal. The best I've had. I liked them better than Buffalo wild wings. The rice and beans I ordered with a side of salsa (hot) were also very good. My daughter said that she really enjoyed her steak and shrimp bowl too. The girl who waited on me was very pleasant. I will definitely be coming back here...

Alright, so I live relatively close to this location. I want to start by saying I love the general tso burrito, I go there maybe twice a month. The taste is good and the j jalapeños give it some good spice. I feel like the burritos could be bigger for a 10 dollar purchase. Here’s the crazy nonsense that happened to me yesterday. My brother suggested I try the hibachi burrito, he swears on it, but I don’t like shrimp so I figured I’d ask to maybe remove it? If not. Whatever no big deal.

They mentioned I COULD get it without shrimp, Awesome. Heres the weird thing.

I said “hey, I’m more of a chicken guy rather than a steak guy. Can I substitute the chicken for the steak?

THIS MAN SAID “no. If you substitute chicken for steak we have to CHARGE YOU FOR BOTH CHICKEN AND STEAK.”

Like what? I have NEVER heard of that. I ended up getting the general tso instead anyway, because I was shocked. I’ve never heard of that. Maybe it’s policy? But everyone I vented to about it agreed it was crazy. Kinda took the love I had...

This is my second visit to this place. I used the mobile app to place my order. The app is quick & easy to use. The food was ready in a timely manner.

I did the "create your own" burrito bowl. I got the carnitas, brown rice & pinto beans with various toppings. All the ingredients were fresh! The pork is amazing. I also got a side of chips and queso. The food tastes great and the portion size it A LOT!

So far I prefer Bubbakoo's to Chipotle! The employees were friendly when I went in to get the food and everything appeared to be clean!

I got the chips & queso during my first visit and the queso was watery. I took a chance and ordered it again this visit and it was much better. However, I did ask for my sauce for my bowl to be on the side, and they forgot to put it in my bag. So that was disappointing.

Overall, everything was good and I will be back.
