Wawa — Restaurant in Dover

I used to love shopping at this Wawa for sandwiches and coffee but after today I will no longer. I stopped in to redeem a free latte reward. I placed my order and redeemed my coupon with the cashier. I went back to the area to pick up my order and no one was there and I had to wait a bit. I saw a lady in the area where the coffee was made wearing gloves and washing some things in the sink. The area was swarming with flies! Finally she came over to the drink station where specialty coffees are made. She saw my order, pushed the door with her gloved hands and went in the back to get cups. Came back and made my drink. No hello, have a good day just called my order number. My issue is not that she was not courteous. Maybe she was having a bad day. My issue is that the same gloves she wore for cleaning were the same gloves she wore to push the door to go in the back to get cups. The same gloves to dump the coffee grinds in the trash and the same to make my latte which I threw in the trash. I am so disappointed in this service and will never shop here again until it is cleaned up and some training is done on safe food handling. Very...

I would honesty have to give a one star review simply due to the attitude. I enjoy coming to get food from Wawa but I don’t appreciate it when someone acts like I’m giving them a hard time just for asking simple questions about my order. All I did was ask if I could get some jalapeño chips on my quesadilla as well and the woman responded to me, “It’s already in the oven” with the rudest remark in her tone as if i ruined her procedure entirely. As a current fast food employee I understand how it can be with people sometimes and you’ve had a long day doing something over and over as you deal with the public. However, it’s unreasonable to respond to customers with a full blown attitude for literally no reason at all. I then proceeded to just ask for chips on the side and when my order was ready, she just threw the order on the counter and continued to bark about her experience with me in the back with her fellow employees. My 3 boys and I love wawa slushes, shakes, and snacks. Today we went to wawa and the slushy area was un normally messy and not properly stocked we where in some what of a rush. I went to the shake making section and than noticed she was about to begin my shake. I asked the young lady could she please get us a few lids So the boys could began making their slushy as there were no lids and barely any cups. She proceeded to make the shake without asking for anyone to get the lids nor getting the lights herself. So I asked her again if she could please get me a few lids so that I could assist the boys and making their drinks. I still hadn’t paid for my items and as I said we were in a rush. eventually did call someone over to the counter I went to go and purchase my things and expressed a little frustration to the front line cashier he then apologized and gave us 2slushies on him!
