New Hong Kong Kitchen — Restaurant in Dover

This is our go-to Chinese food place. However, It’s really hit or miss sometimes. We’ve eaten here a dozen times over the past year. Sometimes the chicken will be really chewy and seemingly undercooked, other times you get a perfect order. We would come here more often if the quality was ensured. We tend to try to come on the weekends - we’ve found that the quality is best 5-6 pm. The times when we have picked up food after 7, we have had quality issues.

Thank you for your reply! I have tried a multitude of the chicken dishes, it has usually been a rice or a noodle dish with chicken. It has seemed like the dish has been rushed a bit too much & the chicken not cooked...

Love this place ! Personally i have never eaten inside but always either take to go or now delivered to my home. My in-laws only eat from here no one else. Love the taste of their food they are most definitely not STINGY when it comes to putting the flavor on their dishes. Usually order soups, fried rice ( the shrimp one is outstanding) and broccoli chicken , sesame ckn , spare ribs , pork and Chinese vegetables . any of these we are most def to order and always consistent with their quality 😊. As for the other dishes have not tried them yet but i will soon...

Bad service, the people who work there provide bad service and bad customer service. I placed an order and it arrived wrong. I called to complain. They told me that they were busy and couldn't send me the order correctly. When I called next time, the chicken would be free. I paid for it and they didn't send it, I called today to place a new order where I also ordered chicken and I wanted them to send it to me because I had already paid for it in the last order to which the person responded that he is not in the system and he didn't care.
