Ashley's Take-Out — Restaurant in Dowagiac

I've been hearing for awhile about how good this place is! We finally stopped in. We ordered a meat pizza, cauliflower, and garlic bread. We love the crust!!! I loved how much cheese was put on it. The fried cauliflower wasn't over cooked as it is at many places we have ordered from. The garlic bread was the only thing I wasn't a fan of. They used French bread and cut in half-- was just too much bread. That is why I didn't give 5 stars. Service was excellent. Although we did carry out we sat inside and waited. They gave us the appetizer while we were waiting and the wait wasn't long. It was VERY busy but it didn't affect the Staff. So friendly and Cheerful. It's in a very tiny building that has been there we'll over 30 years so it does have the worn old look but it was clean. Prices are very reasonable We will be a regular here. The food was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The tator tots were also cooked to the perfect crisp. The workers were all polite and asked how everything was and checked on us and got us our food in a timely manner. It was less than $20 for two of us as well, so prices were really good too. I wish I had seen this place before as I’m sure I will be back...

Ashley's Take-Out was a little disappointing for me. I had the grilled ham and cheese and I thought it would be on Texas toast, but it came on a small sub roll. There wasn't a good ham to cheese ratio so the cheese got lost in the ham. The price was $9.00, which was way to expensive for how small the sandwich was. I probably won't...
