First of all, the coffee and service at this place is INSANELY good. Like, one of the most creative and delicious lattes of my life. That good. Employee was sweet and helpful.
BUT, and this is a BIG but... the woman who works/manages the beauty salon adjacent is absolutely awful. There is a small seating area between the two businesses. No signage to indicate which business it belongs to. We sat down after receiving our beverages only to be VERY rudely yelled at/told to leave by the woman at the beauty salon. Of note: at the time, there were absolutely no other customers in EITHER business other than us. So it's not as if there were people from the beauty salon who wanted to use the space. If that seating area was not meant to be shared, OK fine... PUT UP SIGNS! But honestly, even if the seating did belong to the beauty salon... were we really doing any harm by sitting there for ten minutes? Good grief.
So, in conclusion, giving five stars because of the quality and experience at Arcadia... but I truly hope they relocate to a better/ not shared space OR that b$%&* from the beauty salon decides to retire. Until then, we will only be doing drive-thru (which, sadly, we don't do as often since part of the charm is getting to sit in a little cafe to enjoy...
Read morei truly adore supporting local everything and once i realized this spot was opening up, i was SO excited. since im nearby, i have gone half dozen times and each time it’s been underwhelming. i kept going back because i thought maybe it was just me, it wasn’t. the only thing ive ever purchased has been iced/hot coffee drinks. this drink (shown in photo) was the most watered down coffee - from the get go- i’ve ever had. it truly tasted like i was drinking watered down milk-when i ordered a caramel iced latte. and that’s been my experience with all your iced drinks. i am a big coffee drinker, always have been- so i say this with kindness, but i would do more coffee reviews/tastings with your team. i just feel that if i can get a better tasting cup of coffee from a gas station, something is off. i don’t say this to be negative towards your company by any means- but maybe you can take what i said and use it constructively. 🫶🏻
Update bc I can’t reply to managements response: I am very familiar with almond milk. I rotate between that, coconut, and oat, which I did every visit. So that’s definitely not the issue, it’s the fact that I don’t taste espresso. Thanks so much...
Read moreVisited here on a Sunday morning and it was nice! The staff were super warm, welcoming, and down to earth. There is a drive thru and if you walk indoors, the coffee shop is on the left. They have an interesting set up as the shop is technically inside of a hair salon so there's no indoor seating for coffee shop patrons. Aside from that, they have a menu of specialty, seasonal drinks with super interesting flavors. If you visit their Facebook you'll see a pic of the seasonal menu in one of their recent posts. I got an Iced Honey Bee Latte from their Spring menu. Loved this latte!! It had distinct notes of that pure honey flavor with that familiar coffee taste still shining through and blending with the honey taste. Also they drew a cute little honey bee on the cup and they didn't over-ice the drink either. They had some pastries as well so I got a sugar donut which they warmed for me. They mentioned that when warmed it tasted more like funnel cake and it really did and the donut complimented my latte quite well. Overall this was a charming little spot to go to, I enjoyed everything I ordered, and I would definitely visit again if I'm ever...
