Cassano's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Downers Grove

I ordered a meal from Cassano’s for delivery. The lady told me that my delivery wait would be 40 minutes. I waited for an hour and 15 minutes and called to see where it was. Another lady named Marie told me that who ever took my order put it in as a carry out. So I then said that it was supposed to be a delivery. She then said that she would reorder my meal and that it would be there in an hour. I said that it is unacceptable that I should have to wait another hour. I said I just want my money back and then she put me on hold. I was thinking that she was going to make up for their mistake and put in front of the line and get it to me asap. Nope! She said that they were refunding my money and I would get it back in 5 days. I then said that is unacceptable and she had no remorse or even acted like she cared a bit. We love ordering from Cassano’s mainly because it’s local and we like to take care of local companies. We order there quite often and to be treated like that blows my mind. I guess they don’t need my business. There are too much competition out there and we will spend our money other places. I will never order from there again! Marie should not be in customer service. I get that she didn’t make the mistake but mistakes happen. It’s about how you react to your company you represent mistakes is what matters. Marie failed Cassano’s and because of how Marie reacted with me today, Cassano’s has lost a lifetime...

Pizza is fantastic. The reason for the one star is that they give a coupon for a free pizza after you save 25 coupons. Usually when we order it is between $50 and $60. It has taken me years to save up these coupons now. So very excited to finally order my FREE pizza and I call in to order and they are now not honoring the FREE pizza coupon it is only $25 off your order. I understand that product is more expensive now. But I have a coupon that says free but it is not. What a scam you should honor what the coupon says till you print new ones. Truly feels like a bait and switch. So very disappointed with this. After I get my now discounted pizza. I don't know if I will order from here again, this is just...

The board that mentions some food has no prices. I asked the lady on the front desk if pizza is ready (time is always against us during lunch) the lady says yes, I asked if fries are ready and she says it takes 5 minutes then I saw they have Italian beef so I ordered it, after paying she says it will take 10-15 minutes (WHAT?!). So I waited. Got to the office. The lady didn’t ask if I wanted sweet or hot peppers (usually comes with one or the other) so my sandwich is plain. Not on the side. She didn’t ask if I wanted it dip so at least I got some of the juice but no peppers....
