El Taco — Restaurant in Downey

El Taco is one of the few places that still has descent tasting food, many other fast food establishments have changed so much , the taste of the foods are not the same at all and that's a big deal because I myself will go to a specific place because of the taste or way that their food tastes or is prepared or because of an ingredient that may be used and also because of the customer service. These days a smile seems to be one of the things missing from most places, for example, the Popeye's Chicken on Florence Avenue in Bell is probably one of the worst customer service experiences we've ever had with such a young crew which should be energetic and full of smiles is the totally opposite, after the 3rd time we knew we weren't just having a bad day. The young lady that was helping at the drive through window Never once said Thank You nor did she even give eye contact, she gave us our change turned and actually slammed the little acrylic window shut, No Smile, No Eye Contact, No Thank You and rolled her eyes 👀because we asked for condiments ... Wow, I just like the wings and Church's Chickens recipe has changed. So...

To the girl who screamed at me at the intercom today 10:46am November 2 I would like to say that you need to change that attitude cause one day you’re going to get yourself in trouble with the wrong people. I kindly said I’m ready but they couldn’t hear me and for the 3rd time they repeat themselves they YELL at me If I go up to the window I would appreciate if the person who yelled would talk to me because why were they scared when I pulled up but they weren’t scared when they were yelling at me through the intercom I have patience because I know what it’s like to work in customer service and yelling at a customer is not right. Just know if you keep talking like that you’re going to be messing with the wrong person that day and you better be glad it wasn’t me since I have experience in dealing with rude people. That was me being nice too. P.S I have been going there since I was little so the next time I come in I’m going in the restaurant cause I wanna know if they talk to their customers like that face to face since they did it over...

I'm so disappointed. This is the second time this month they have messed up my order. The first time I caught it in the drive through. They had added additional items to my order that I did not ask for. Today I asked for two Cheese enchiladas in green sauce and 2 additional tacos to the crispy taco order. Well, they gave me some sort of meat enchiladas and 3 additional crispy tacos. Unfortunately it wasn't until opened the enchiladas did I see that it had meat. I tried calling the number listed online several times and only got a recording saying they can't take my call. Now my Hubby went back out in the rain to try and get this right. Lessoned learned, Never leave this drive through without double...
