Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Downey

This is THE WORST and MOST ridiculously managed store in two counties. I AM NEVER GOING BACK THERE. Even though it's within 2 minutes from our office. We were going to share a burger, so I decided to go to the drive thru, ss it was raining. The line wasn't so long, but it was so slow. Then, i waited over two minutes at the ordering screen, I had to shout, asking if there was anyone there. "Yes, what do you want?" was the response. The "manager" couldn't understand my simple request to cook the bacon extra well and handed the mic to someone else. Then she denies my other simple request, "Will you please cut the burger in half?" her answer: "Oh, we don't do that here." We'll give you... ineligible words. I asked why not here since everywhere else they kindly accommodate me? No response. After another long moment, someone asks what I want. My response: "Forget it. Cancel that" As I pull forward to exit the drive thru, the driver in front of me pulls forward and stops blocking the way out for no apparent reason. We sat there for more than two minutes, no way out, the driver behind me, and I started honking. She ignores us until she gets fed up and steps out to shout: " Hey, what do you want me to do they told me to wait here, darned it," poor woman, she's suffering the idiocity of others. So now, 18 minutes later, I'm late to the office, no food for either of us, and i am superbly annoyed. I called and asked to speak to the manager. -same voice who couldn't understand me - his answer to my Why's "we are busy."

Well... if I volunteer to get lunch again, there's a MacDonald right across the street, and their coffee is better. Farewell...

I am a regular customer and I am usually satisfied, until today. I ordered a small combo and I was told they were out of small cups. I said I didn't want a medium drink but if wanted to give me a medium cup and fill it small that would be fine. Needless to say I was given a full medium drink..I asked if he charged me for a small and he said no a medium...I said he should charge me for a small...He got his manager, I asked her for the small charge because it's not my fault they ran out of small cups...she said " It's not my fault either and she just works there and can't do it." I had her take the soda off the order and they proceeded to throw the soda they had already pored for me in the trash...I find it hard to believe she couldn't authorize giving me the price reduction.....POOR...

Avoid this place, food is prepped with substandard results. Tried this place the first time and wasn't happy with our meal.

Gave this place a second chance and they failed miserably for the dine-in experience. We walked in and the staff was chatting in the back while we waited to have someone help us, after 3 minutes of waiting and a lack of response from the staff I had to yell for assistance.

But, wait there's more, after placing my order, I was told they had no soft drinks and instead offered iced tea, yet they were busy talking in the back all this time instead getting on the phone to call a tech and fix the broken equipment.

Needless to say this will be my last visit to this Jack in the crack, I should've gone to McDonald's instead. Worst customer...
