Love the security Big Sean and old school but the head bartender was very disrespectful and very rude to a group of women waiting in line for the bathroom one of them had a hard time holding their pee since the facilities only have one operable women bathroom I feel bad for her and I let her go in the men's bathroom and stood guard at the door the head bartender scene that and immediately rushed over to say he had to use the bathroom now she must pull her pants up and get out I explained to him that Hey sir you're a man you can go pee outside in the bushes without any problem allow these women who are patronizing your business buying drinks dancing and having a good time to use the bathroom properly and without rushing he said he didn't care they needed to get out the bathroom now I said hey if that was your mom or your wife you wouldn't want anyone to treat them like that he said he didn't care they need to get out of the bathroom and I need to get out the bar so needless to say I'm banned from the Glen and I feel like any women who are in the Downey area do not patronize a business who has no...

Love my local bar since Mr Glen originally owned it, would sneak in at times back in 1990 when I was a rebel back them and Mr Glen would enjoy our young company and treat us like adults. Hed conversate w us and eventually tell us we werent old enough and lead us our way out. I did and DO have much Love for him to this date, he was battling Cancer and never made it but i warm-heartedly remember his sweet heart and I told him I'd be back here at the right age. I'm way older and still loyal to this bar, Lots of love and respect Mr Glen!!!! As for our newer Glen love the service, its clean, always got my Poison cold and stocked up Modelo Negra, have many returning friends here all the time. My Friend/Bar Manager Carlos and fellow bartenders are Great Glens Employees since The Glen reopened acouple years ago. Their basically Family. I order food @ Stewart & Grub and have them send it to The Glen and I enjoy that restaurants food w my favorite Beverage. They hot great music, Djs, Epic Kareoke...

Ive been going to The Glen for about 5 years. I just left there at 9:50 pm and apparently "cut off" due to the bartender Jeanette's friends having an issue with me. It was apparently Jeanette's bday and even though it was her taking about 7 shots behind the bar in the short time I was there, they proceeded to "cut me off" after I ordered 2 Palomas which both ended up watered down as I didn't even finish. Im a local and been coming here for so long, have had great nights and have never ever been treated this way. I guess you have to be the bartenders friend and her friends need to like you in order to be treated with respect. I probably won't come here for a very long time and definitely not when this staff is on. Good luck...
