Taco Bell — Restaurant in Downey

Went in on a Sunday and no one was at the register (even after shouting for assistance) until a few cars pulled up in the drive-thru and their headsets alerted them. After about 5-10 minutes of waiting in the lobby, they finally took my order after they had taken care of the other people in the drive-thru who got there after I did. When I went to get my drink of choice, the syrup was out and I asked for them to change the syrup. The cashier then tells me that she was too busy taking orders and had no one to change it for her and asked if I wanted a different drink. I said it was okay and went back to choose a different drink but that one was ALSO out. Had it not been for my hangover and intense hunger, I would have demanded a refund and gone some place else. I really hope they schedule more people in the future to avoid...

After a few crappy visits to other late night food places in Downey, we were headed towards the freeway and came upon this location. I was under the assumption that Taco Bell drive thrus were usually 24 hours or at least till midnight or so. It was a Saturday night and approximately 10:30PM, rolled by the drive thru station and received an automated message stating that the restaurant was already closed. I pulled up to the drive thru window and checked the closing time, it's supposed to stay open until 11PM or so, but nope. Drive Thru sign lit up, but only one lady was visible inside and nothing achieved.

I been going there for over 6 years never had a problem, love the tacos and salads, kids love the Mexican pizza and Dorito tacos. Drive thru takes long when someone is ordering something last minute at window. I would know because I've seen a car in front of me do that, and I'm sure everyone behind me don't know what's going on. Be nice.
