Subject: Concern Regarding Poor Customer Service – July 27, Around 9:00 AM
Dear Management,
I’m reaching out to express my disappointment regarding the customer service I experienced at your location on Sunday, July 27th, around 9:00 AM.
As a regular customer, I’ve typically had good experiences at this location. However, during this visit, the service at the drive-thru was noticeably unprofessional. After placing my order, there was no acknowledgment from the staff member. I waited for over two minutes before saying “hello,” and was met with a rude response: “What do you want?” The tone was dismissive and disengaged, as if the employee was not focused or interested in helping.
I repeated my order, but the interaction remained poor. In the end, I chose to leave without completing the purchase, as I didn’t have the time to repeat myself again and deal with poor service.
As someone who works in restaurant operations, I understand the value of fast, friendly service—especially in a fast-food setting where speed and customer satisfaction are key. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those expectations. I could have chosen a sit-down restaurant, but I came here for convenience and efficiency, which I did not receive.
Recommendation: It may be beneficial to revisit customer service training with your staff to ensure all employees are attentive, respectful, and focused—especially during morning rush hours.
Thank you for your time and attention. I hope this feedback helps improve future service at this location.
Sincerely, A...
Read moreSo, I've been here twice now. I ordered a cheesy cheddar burger the first time. It was midday and there were no issues. I go in last night and the manager told me he had never heard of that burger before. I, knowing that this is an old item that is now on the "secret menu" told him that I had been here before and ordered it but understand he may not know how to charge me for it/ring it up. I told him to just ring me up a cheeseburger, plain, add cheddar sauce. He straight up refused! I get that this isnt BK and that maybe I can't make my food the way I want it??.. But really?? I literally told him how to ring it up and I also told him I would pay upwards of $3 for it even though they have never cost me that much. I seriously left disappointed and like I didn't matter as a customer. I was looking forward to my small, weekly treat. Either sell it or don't but when I make a special order I should be able to get what I want, how I want it. There was nothing crazy about my request and I know I would have been charged accordingly, but to straight up refuse and make me feel like I'm crazy??? Well, there were 4 people behind me who ALL said YOU were crazy for not being able to ring it up that way. Sooooo I settled for a JBC. Not what I wanted but it was still good. That manager though... He was maybe 20 saying "We've never had such a thing my whole time working here"... Que...
Read moreWendy’s in Lakewood for breakfast sandwich was to hot with pepper from the sausage, this caused the bacon and egg to have no taste at all. Might okay if they find some other supplier from the sausage. The other problem with the Lakewood Wendy’s was that no one working there was wearing masks or gloves this morning durning this pledge virus, which is shameful. I would have given them 5 stars if not for the above problems plus they also did not have the briskets a and gravy as advertised. Other than that there other food is usually great, but we won’t buy again until they follow the CDC and state rules on health conditions. Went there today Tuesday Feb 23 2921, the clerk on the PA couldn’t hardly speak English and kept getting the order screwed up. Got the order and the large French flies were stale and cold, there were no biggy meats anymore and there menu was not updated. Upset because we never even got our receipt. his will be the final and last time we go the the Wendy’s on Lakewood blvd. they either need new management with better trained people this...
